And no one listens. I know its an anger fueled rant but come on. Its directed at the sheep that wont wake up and and the Cabal that try to enslave us. I'm not trying to offend any one or belittle this horrible act but really people, see things for what they are. I mean really look at things, think for once. Don't fallow CNN, or FOX NEWS. Think for yourselves. These are very dangerous times and the outcome depends on us. I've said my piece, not much more I can do. Call me what you will I don't care.

And then the kids get on the teacher's nerves, and the teacher has a breakdown.

Great idea...

Not

America has a tyrannical government. If it didn't the majority of ATS members wouldn't be here talking about satanic elites and having to prep for when the SHTF.

I stopped arguing about guns specifically a few years ago, there's no point. The debate is so polarised it's beyond rationality and primarily an emotive issue.

I do want to know how bad America has to get before people are actually going to exercise the point of that second amendment though.

Apparently, there's a Muslim communist terrorist in the Whitehouse. American schoolkids are being brainwashed with socialist and culturally Marxist politics. A liberal Hollywood is spreading the same message to movie going adults. These same godless Marxist politics are weakening the moral compass of a rightfully Christian America. GM is poisoning the food. Americans no longer have the right to eat whatever they want or smoke wherever they want. Contrails are poisoning the sky. Government scientists are controlling the weather and the geological stability of the very ground we walk on. The intelligence agencies are waging a war against American citizens. Americans have their phones, internet and digital transaction monitored. The same agencies are deploying disinfo agents on free-thinking websites. Intelligence agencies are owning and controlling the flow of drugs into America to destroy the youth and to stoke racial violence. Technological advances are being purposely withheld from the American people. The government and Big Business are crippling the middle-classes with taxes. The American economy is being purposely sabotaged. The Banking system is in control of the Government. The government has forced unAmerican Obamacare on the population. Americans are having rights stripped from them daily.

All this and gun-toting Americans are still ready against their government? How bad is it going to get, America, before you decide 'enough is enough'?

Honestly, you'll all be in cages before you actually have the gonads to use those guns against your government.

This is 1 subject I just can’t make my mind up on. As an outsider looking in I have so many different thoughts on the subject.

Gun owners and US citizens make some good points;

Like the whole argument of banning drugs doesn’t stop drugs being supplied/used
There’s more deaths caused by other weapons and cars, should we ban those.
Guns don’t kill people, the unhinged do
Being armed against criminals and government

But then I open and paper and see how 20 children aged 5 to 10 years are dead and think that all those armed citizens couldn't help, there guns where useless to prevent this. I understand this is because they didn’t know but still the 'good guys' guns were useless.
It makes me think of how many school massacres we've had over here in Britain since we banned guns.

So too ban guns or not I honestly don’t no. all I no is its gut wrenching that it’s always the kids they go for, I suppose it’s for maximum impact and easy targets.
I know when I read;

Cops ordered youngsters to shut their eyes and hold hands as they were escorted from the scene

And think how could this be avoided?

If you can't see that this was staged the public education propaganda really worked and you are devoid of the ability to critically think.

I don't think I have ever read a more crass, thoughtless, deluded and stupid comment EVER!

Really why don’t you try telling that to those kids parents, what is to protect children from those guns, you don’t have a tyrannical government there are plenty of countries with very strict gun control and there is no “tyrannical governments”, it is just another cliché of the pro-gun crowd.

"Really," why don't you try telling that to those kids parents, who's kid had antagonizing fatal knife wounds. He had suffered multiple entry points before dying.

See, a ban on guns has no affect. People will kill and kill and kill and kill and kill regardless of the tool used. Once you thick headed jokes get that...Maybe there will be more justification to rid the world of these brainless killers. But, no we fail at life. If this dude would have been alive still...he would be in court waiting trial. Just...like...James...Holmes.

I VOTE FOR INSTANT DEATH PENALTY!!!!!!
WHOS WITH ME???????????

Oh and by the way...great fail thread

And you want to live in a society like that? Really? Fight fire with fire and the flames only get higher.

These events are a reflection of a broken society and solutions like the one suggested by you are indicative of the reality that there will never ever be a fix.

ETA What happens when that teacher goes through a rough patch in life and decides to take it out on their class?

Yes, because banning things really works well to prevent their use.

Really look at how many mass shootings there have been in the UK since we banned handguns.

Not very many….

Fewer people die in the Sahara than in Minnesota, too. Shall be start banning lakes now?

But, lets take your asinine statement, and apply some much-needed logic to it: how many murders have occurred in the UK since you banned handguns? Surely people stopped killing other people the minute handguns were banned, right?

What happened yesterday was a horror, to kill children is the lowest form of cowardice without a doubt. But what sickens me aside from killing kids is the constant anti gun BS that fills this thread along with the original thread about this shooting. Most people on this planet ( aside from muslims) are incapable of doing such a crime, much less finding a second person to help.

ARE YOU FREAKIN SERIOUS? Everyone is capable of doing what that freak did. It all comes down to wanting to do it. FOR EXAMPLE and YOU BETTER READ THIS...

This couple that lived down the street from us liked to adopt children...especially foreign kids. Well, one night one of the kids decided to buy GTA and attempt to play it in a very Christian home. This kid was nice and polite...very well behaved also. Mom told him he couldn't play it. Kid GRABBED a knife, I think it was a butter knife, and fatally stabbed his adopting mother to death. No one thought this would ever happen, especially from him. But, guess what...it happened.

Not to mention the freak in China that went to a school and started stabbing kids. Hmmmmm, but wait, people are incapable of doing this. Get you facts straight ladies and gentlemen.

People can and will kill you. Only if they want too. That is the beauty of free will. Doing whatever comes to the mind.

If you cannot conquer your mind...you will fail.

then by your own argument, the 2nd amendment needs to be repealed.

Go ahead. It would change nothing. This is my point. You would still have to pass additional laws banning gun ownership, and that is highly unlikely to ever happen. The 2nd Amendment merely prevents the government from passing the more restrictive of those laws. Thankfully, even in its absence, we would still have enough representatives with common sense that those laws would not be likely to pass for at least another generation.

For once, I'm going to agree with you. There will be a whole lot of bluster over the next week or two, but the ban(s) introduced into Congress by the usual suspects will go nowhere. Despite this tragedy, we're still living at the modern day high point of public sentiment in favor of firearms ownership and of record sales. More people will place the responsibility on the shooter than the implement he used. You may see a big push to overhaul the background check system (which would've made precisely zero difference here, I might add), but there will not be a sweeping ban forthcoming.

Banning guns only assures that the criminals are well armed but the public is sitting ducks for the goons. That's all it does, like prohibition, the criminals are the only ones who would benefit from a gun ban, this is not speculation, this is history they always find ways around these bans, it's proven. It's well known it's just plain stupidity and ignorance that makes people start thread like these.

Far more common than guns is the attacker being schizophrenic or on meds.

Seems we could do a lot to reduce violence across the board as well as homelessness, vagrancy and petty crime altogether if we simply ban the mentally ill.

Why should everyone suffer because of a few mental patients, right?

Register and tag the schizophrenics. Maybe round them up in camps. Im sure we could find something useful for them to do behind fences under armed watch.

It'd be easier than trying to collect 400 million firearms and it'd much more effective.

It’s getting to the stage that enough is enough something has to be done.

They're winning. Sentiments like this are what cause countries to dissolve into tyranny.

"Those who would trade liberty for a little safety will receive none and deserve neither."
-Benjamin Franklin

I do agree that the sale of guns needs to be better regulated and that those purchasing guns need to be better vetted. However, the answer is not banning guns. History has taught us again and again that an unarmed society is one ripe for tyranny.
