Fair question and one I would ask as well. But again, if any of this is true, is it not possible they are trying to communicate to us on how to stop it and we haven't decoded it yet? He says in the video they are only able to put bits and pieces together from the messages and a great deal is not known yet.

I still say you would want the best scientific minds on this, and you ain't gonna find them sitting around watching YouTube. If I were a scientist, and I had information that could mean the end of civilization, I would use my NASA credentials to get an international press conference going, pronto - to try to reach other scientists across the world.

Let me say this once again. Credentials do not mean anything. Being able to find evidence of his genius is impossible. Any data or research that will literarily change the world is all hush hush.im not saying if what he said is true or not. But it'll be next to impossible to verify unless some government agency says so. Yes there have many people who have been caught lying and creating hoaxes. But this may or may not be the case. Do not knock it down without doing some research yourself. We live in a world where credenTials mean everything. You think people like da Vinci or other great geniuses had any credentials before they created what they did? They start from nothing and explore what they want. They release data and what Not themselves , this act creates their own credentials. Let me mention that people thought that da Vinci was a creepy weirdo during his time, but now we honour him as one of the greatest minds.please stop thinking that because someone doesn't have a paper trail they can't be great, a genius, or just simply an intelligent being. The world is where it is because people believe the need for a paper trail. Look at the job world, needs experience with so and so for a certain amount of time. Or college where so and so grades are needed. These numbers and statistics mean nothing as if you can grade a persons life And people wonder why we haven't had a great thinker in the past couple decades. Don't dismiss it until you yourself can verify its veracity. and with that, despite not knowing the truthfulness of it all. I think we can all agree we learned a little something

The whole "you can tell someone is lying by their body language" is complete crap! You might be able to tell certain individuals if you know them really well and have caught them in lies before and observed their body language but there is no universal formula.

Some people look up or away for various reasons. most commonly they are not confident speakers or could have had issues in child hood etc. I know plenty of people who have all the so called signs of lying who are honest and trust worthy.

So is a guy who is telling you about his house that he lives in and owns and you know he does but closes his eyes at certain intervals lying? Its non-sense! Put out by police and authority types to make people think they can tell when anyone is lying...

As for this video frankly I don't know if he is lying. His rant about religions at the end didn't help his credibility IMO. he could have said we need to work together without the religious rant. But I do lean toward him being genuine or at least believing what he is saying ( not that I do). Still I will wait to see if anyone can verify his stated credentials first before drawing any solid conclusions...

First I must say that this guy is really an extremely good actor or he actually believes what he is saying. Analyzing his body language isn't going to lead us to any firm conclusions, I can tell you that right now. We are better off looking at things such as his credentials and confirming who he says he is.

And upon doing some rather in-depth research it's apparent this man has no online presence. I've also read many posts from people on this forum and other forums who are trying to confirm his credentials, but we are all reaching a dead end, there is nothing on the internet which can confirm his claims.

While that alone isn't 100% conclusive evidence that he is a fraud, I would say there's at least an 85% chance he isn't who he says he is based on the fact we can't find any online information to confirm his credentials. So this is strongly leaning in the favor of a hoax for me at this point in time.

What really peaks my interest though is that the actual science behind his claims is rather solid, such a geomagnetic pole reversal is possible and a lot of the evidence suggests we are heading into such a reversal right now. However I don't think there is any evidence to indicate the Van Allen radiation belt would fall to Earth in such an event.

Very interesting video either way... but before we do anything else we must confirm the identity of this man. If his claims as to who he is and who he worked for don't add up then we should clearly dismiss all his other claims as nonsense. The science is pretty solid though and he presents himself in a believable way, so I wont dismiss him yet.

This is a YOUTUBE VIDEO....this guy had loads of time to practice and rehearse what he was going to present to the world. If you haven't noticed already there seems to be a few "glitches" in the flow of the video as if it were a quick cut and paste to edit the video.

Remember, if you speak to the public live, there is a chance that there is room for error. All I know is many people practice what they will say BEFORE they post anything. It doesn't seem to me he is speaking out on the fly.

So far you can't find a profile for this Dr. Salvatore Conte (or Conti) using google/yahoo search. We have yet to find more information on this guy before making any conclusions.

Youtube users have said this about the video:

"Google his name, you will find nothing. My friend is an astrophysicist and when I google his name I get pages and pages of hits, and he's not even very prominent and is way younger than this guy, so presumably would have fewer citations out there about him. This guy has to be total BS."

"I can't find anything about a Salvatore Conti who is a scientist working for NASA anywhere online. If this guys is who he says he is, there would be tons of references to him around the web. Facts, although if i were he.. I would have made dam sure i wasn't traceable by a web search, i think he's a smarter man than i.. so good luck with that hunt.. im just gonna take his last message to heart (like i really had to..) i don't see it happening though.. the "lets all get together and fix this" part that is..

I've already layed out what ive seen in dreams, the sky, storm.. ect.. stuff like this makes sense to me and isn't Doom porn.. it just... makes sense.. (still on the fence about alien communication though... not touching that one lol)

It looks like Dr Sal is watching someone behind/beside the camera and getting confirmation that the details he is speaking about are ok to say.
The clip seems to be edited in several places, perhaps because some details should not be known.

Call the Commissioner and have him flash the "Phage" Signal!

I wonder if he will show up and weigh in on what this guy claims in the video?
Heck, Phage may actually work at NASA and can confirm or deny this guys credentials.

Although I say the above kind of tongue-in-cheek, I would actually love to hear what Phage would say about this subject.

If this was legit information, and the guy was authentic, you would have figured by now that the government which funds NASA would have removed this video from Youtube, shut down the account of the user, and finally this Sal guy would disappear.

Has anything happened yet? No. This has got to be a hoax.

Was an interesting video, to address what others have said about the glitches, I'm pretty sure the quote from the op stated he edited out the long pauses, to keep the clip short, seems legit.

My next point, He seems nervous/fearful, and probably for good reason if what he says is true, would you stare blankly into a camera like a drone and talk about something that is going to most likely kill your entire family? I think not, some of you need to jump off the high horses and get a grip.

I see a guy spilling some beans, and believes what he is saying, but at the same time he is nervous because he probably expects the ridicule and is wondering if he is wasting his time.
But we do need evidence, university documents would be nice obviously.
Stop lookin for plot holes in the movie, and just wait for the script.

Maybe this Dr. Sal guy also viewed this video, made some notes, and added these notes to his claim about the upcoming and ongoing Earth events leading to 2016.

Maybe there will be a movie coming out next year called 2016, a revision of the previous movie 2012.

After seeing the info on the storm in the Arctic and researching the release of methane all over the planet I conclude the aliens are totally wrong, this should all happen much sooner then 2016.

I am thinking he understand the dynamics and is offering it as not coming from himself in order to get some started looking at the evidence.

that's why i was surprised when he said he was italian coz he spoke with a Spanish accent every now and then and this is very distince from any Italian one - espy. the 'b' for 'v' thing is a seriously spanish thing...in fact, i was bemused that a spaniard has the last name 'Conti'...
