I have nothing to barter as I will be living in the wild like my ancestors did before the white man came.

I am prepared.

I am a native too but I have to admit I am soft now and would rather have a roof over my head.

Good luck to you.

I'll have a roof over my head. I can build a tree house.

Lord knows, I've put together enough furniture on my own that I can come up with something cute.

Fine smart guy, find me using my IP, go ahead, I already gave you a head start by telling you I am in North Louisiana.

You're kidding me, right? You need to find an outlet for your anger.

A basic "how to":
www.wikihow.com...

Furthermore, if you carry a cell phone, subscribe to cable, have electricity, have a landline, have registered a car, etc, you can be tracked.

Wow...are you serious ? Like you'd have acces to internet when SHTF ...probably not even grid power..lol

My major bartering tool if/when SHTF would be cigarettes for all you nicotine addicts. Cigarettes are hot commodity in prison, so imagine the demand when they are no longer manufacturing.

And...when you run out of ciggies...I'll still have my tobacco growing....

Des

Touche sir. I'll be long gone once that happens however.

Just a little help for my friends'.

" target='_blank' class='tabOff'/>

These are 3oz cups filled with soil. One conductor is made from 115vac solid copper cut into 3" lengths. The other conductor is zinc coated "hurricane clips" cut into strips.

One lead is negative the other is positive and has a diode/resistor connected to it.

This is how they powered the early telegraph wires.

ETA; it's really not a storage device for energy like it being named a battery would seem to entail...it's more of a way to access then deliver energy to a storage device; like a battery.

Very cool, each cup is delivering about.668 volts.
So to charge your cell phone you would need about 8 cups?

Actually, b/c the diode/resistor allows the voltage to go in only one direction,
One can charge a cell phone in about a half an hour or so...LED In the link is the circuit symbol that can be found on circuit boards of ruined/trashed electronics...

I'm shooting toward a goal of 32v.

Wow that earth battery is amazing. Doesn't it run out once the salts are depleted ? or do you add more water ?

And what's the amperage ?

It almost as amazing as a radio that doesn't need any electricity or advanced electronics, like this foxhole radios:

Only need a safety razor, a paper clip and some thin wire.
or

A) Paper Clips
B) Metal Thumbtacks
C) Razor Blade - Single Edged and Steel
D) Safety Pin
E) Pencil Lead
F) Jumbo Paper Clips
G) Nail - 1 1/4”L
H) Base Board 4.5”x6.5”x0.25”
I) Coil Assembly = Toilet paper tube, magnet wire 28 gauge

Hi,
I'm not quite sure how to increase the amps from between 0.01---0.03
The zinc strips erode and need replacing every 90 days for best results. I use sea water and vinegar, but not at the same time...

I hope I'll never need to make my own radio, but now with your links I'll have half a chance, thanks.
