New here... what kind of "camera glitch" is this, if that?

Got it.

The picture is upside-down. It's the swivel base of a CRT monitor.

It looks like a monitor stand or the stand for the camera to me.

As soon as I saw it I had the same thought. We've been trolled by a noob, and all fell for it....

You guys take a picture of a monitor stand, or a speaker stand, and try to get the same type of photo.

This is, increasingly, very annoying.

If you try to debunk a "fake" that isn't a fake, you can really come up with anything. :|

What the hell are you talking about? A picture of a speaker stand is a picture of a speaker stand. You may have laid the camera down and accidentally hit the button. If you were taking a picture of yourself, you missed! You took a picture of something else--unless you're claiming that is actually a picture of you....

again, i challenge you. take a #ing picture of a speaker stand!! take a picture of the swivel base on your monitor!!

I never owned speakers like that, and i have the same monitor i had back then. The swivel base looks nothing like that photo backwards forwards upside down or side to side.

I would not go this far to troll anyone. I'm not even claiming it is anything! I just know what it is not!

When I posted this, I was actually hoping you guys could give me some sort of evidence of a camera glitch. Not say I accidentally took a photo of something else, when I know, for a fact, I did not.

The square part looks like a port into a computer or phone jack.
Whatever it is, it's part of your computer equipment, maybe a modem.

Is this the entire picture or partial. Did you crop it?

By "glitch" are you implying it was a photo of you that got glitched ?
I don't think so. It's just an accidental photo of something and aren't these accidental pics usually something you just delete? What fascinates you about it, that you kept it for 6 years. Your memory also isn't that fresh about it now either.
