New user, just posting a little introduction. I'm Kevin. Looking for some conscious elevation, know what I mean? Can anyone point me in the right direction ~ it's a big house!

Welcome in da house!
As you noticed, it is indeed large and spacious with a room for just about everything. Enjoy your stay and see you on the boards.

Yes, I hear that every once in a while but the nickname is more a reference to my slightly hyper and chaotic brain rather than illicit substances that we aren't allowed to discuss here at all. Just a heads up.

There are plenty of cerebral topics here.

Oops! My bad!

As for avatar I've been playing with it for months but I just am no good with graphics. I found a Pink Floyd DSOTM icon that I jazzed up but I struggle with GIMP (photoshop for paupers) and it's myriad of options.

Pink Floyd, a band, have an album called Dark Side Of The Moon, 3rd or 4th best selling album of all time. I was attempting to melt the album cover into an avatar but am useless with graphics software.
I can't draw!

A reference to Alice in Wonderland.
Or possibly The Matrix ("Follow the White Rabbit"). The rabbit hole is deep and requires careful study and navigation. It can be quite intimidating the first few times.
