I hope this is the correct forum. If not, please move. About a year ago I read a very good UFO/Alien Book called "Alien Agenda". Does any of my fellow ATSrs have a suggestion on a good UFO/Alien book?

Hi,

i read plenty of them already, most them many years ago.

But right now what i put on my kindle:

"UFOs: Generals, Pilots, and Government Officials Go on the Record"
www.amazon.com...=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1339731549&sr=8-1&keywords=ufos

It's really good - there is a TV documentary to it as well which is also very good.

Furthermore i can highly, highly recommend the books by Jacques Vallee

Dimensions
Confrontations
Revelations

And likely his other works as well.

I don't read many Alien/UFO books, but I have a book of a different sort you might like.

"Missing 411" by David Paulides

He is a former detective who became a Bigfoot researcher. The book deals with very odd disappearances in National Parks ( very few does he implicate BF).

Not a UFO book necessarily, but still a good read.

If you want to take a look at the more serious side of things, then you can't go wrong with astronomer J. Allen Hynek's "The UFO Experience: A Scientific Inquiry."

It's a classic. Anyone who has doubts about the reality of "true UFO's" -- strange, solid 'unidentifiables' which are almost definitely not misperceptions or hoaxes -- should read this book.

On page 22, Hynek says: "No scientist who examines the subject objectively can claim for long that UFOs are solely the products of simple misidentification of normal objects and events." And he pretty effectively demonstrates why this is so throughout the next ~300 pages.

(** For those just passing through who are not so familiar with UFO history, Dr. Hynek was the primary scientific consultant to the U.S. Air Force under its UFO study, Project Blue Book, for over 20 years. Hynek was a no-nonsense former UFO skeptic who, after many years, came to believe that something unknown and truly mysterious was responsible for a small percentage of UFO incidents.)

(**** Those merely dipping their toes into the UFO topic and perhaps looking for a more passive means of introduction to it would probably enjoy ATS user Orkojoker's videos over on youtube. They're very well done. So here's a link to get started.)

Might I recommend ... www.abovetopsecret.com...

Once you've grabbed that take a peek under:
Unidentified Objects (UOs) and Transients (UTOs) → Books / Periodicals / Journals

Hope it helps!

It depends on what you want to learn! Chariots of the Gods maybe? The best data is on youtube however, quick and easy to absorb. You just need to find channels made by smart people, not idiots (lots of them). Start with Alien Scientist. If you want to know how to build ufo tech, that's my channel. I explain the Leedskalnin device at coral castle and all it's missing parts. If you use 4 ac motors instead of 2 , you can levitate a triangle platform that is laterally maneuverable. If you want to know about different alien races, well , best i can say is start with a search there for "Man who shot 2 alien grays". He has serious inside info on what the gov' knows of them and what he came across personally, meeting them in the flesh. This will help you understand the nature of different types I suppose, but many sources on that.
