I can think of some organizations that receive government grants (La Raza), that spew plenty of racial hate on some college campuses. Our tax dollars support them, so on that premise, that funding should end too. How can you possibly police all of the organizations all over the U.S. that receive funding and/or tax exemption.

This tape disgusted me, but, you can't police everybody. People are entitled to their beliefs.

Then perhaps federal funding for all the groups needs to stop, tax exempt statuses need to be revoked and a better system needs to be implemented

Perhaps so.

I have been to many different churches in my life, some good, some bad. I have stopped going because of too much hypocrisy, and can't find one in my area that I feel good about. The one thing I would say though, is that some of them do donate an unbelievable amount of money to charity. I don't think that portion of their income should be taxed, but by all means, tax the salaries, etc.

Yes, thank you. I did see that one of mine was removed as well, but it was probably one where I was "retalliating" or being extra-sarcastic or responding to one of the nasty ones, so I can't complain much LOL

Wow, your an embarrassment to each and every one of the membership on this domain .
Your attitude and blatant homophobia is so ridiculous that it is truly sad . It is evident due to your absolutely horrible spelling and punctuation that you are nothing more then a little child and you are one of the reasons the site should employ an age restriction on the ATS domain .

Clearly you have alot of growing up to do and i only hope that you can get the sort of education that you need .
Its people like you that fuel the rude and down nose steriotypical view of your country and you should have some common sense and decency beaten into you .

How dare you attack people you dont even know in the way that you have . It is clear that you are a keyboard tough guy , hiding behind your computer like a coward and not employing one iota of mutual respect for anyone while at the same time both failing to talk yourself up and forever smearing dirt on your reputation here at ATS , AND an overbearing homophobe . Did you know that most people display homophobic behavior to hide there own homosexuality ? Also it is scientifically proven that homophobic men are alot more likely to be turned on by gay pornography . Maybe if you come out of the closet as they say you will lose your disgusting and hostility causing attitude ? But something tells me that you wouldnt be running your trap if you werent behind the safety of your computer ... Its a good thing too because ,Man ! ....

I really dont want to be reminded of how abhorrently disgusting you are so from this point on i am placing you on my ignore list , Just because the website allows dirt and grime like you to dodge its ban protocols doesnt mean that we have to .

PS, A complaint has been sent to ATS admin about your actions as we really dont need people ( i use the term very loosely ) like you both bringing down and trashing our haven . Stick to the topic , its not that difficult .

Good day .

You should read my original comment on this topic, I was just making a friendly comment and stating my opinion and then following that I got hit by negative comments and insults. You out to read up! Also this is not an english class and you should not be picky on grammar.
Seems like ATS with loads of bias members are turning against freedom of opinion and express. I won't be replying to this thread any more because people like you who.. Go head and attack me,

first comment www.abovetopsecret.com...
a reply seems positive www.abovetopsecret.com...
First attack topic that goes random is starts to rant about my opinion and my name.
Just because I don't agree with your point of view people like you have to get flame? How come others, I got my own mind and not part of a bandwagon.

I will be reporting for false accusation.
Good bye

This is the most recent commentary I've seen about it
www.dailykos.com...
They certainly have the public in an uproar (as it should be).
Since this IS a "conspiracy site", wasn't there a thread about the anti-christ coming into public view sometime in May and this kid popped up with the video sometime in May? ....it's possible I guess, Christ didn't just pop into existance, he was born, grew up, then started his ministry, the same could be said for the anti-christ ... (yes, I know this is way out on a limb)

I think you misunderstood me. Maybe I left soemthing out of my post that could clear up what I meant...I'll go back. I was comparing the two issues, not accusing you of anything (I thought I was agreeing?!?!?)

EDIT: Ok, well, I have no room left to edit in my original post on this matter, so I'll just clarify here:

I was comparing the stereotypes of the gay community with stereotyping in general and why, again, in general, stereotypes are wrong. I only used Black Americans as an example because it's a pretty evenly understood topic by most people here on ATS, many if not most being Americans.

The gist of what I meant was that people project a certain image on the gay community (just as the might on the Black community, Hispanic community, Christian community, etc.) and while there are legitimate background stories to why or how certain stereotypes come to bare, it does NOT mean that:

a) Stereotypes (generalizations) are uniformly distributed
b) All Stereotypes are group-specific (Black people eating watermelon, for example, as I said, I've seen my French-Irish American Mother eat watermelon more than any other human being)

Merging rarely work for long. I think I stated that I'm from the Reformation movement? They hung out with the Baptists for a time, until the Baptists kicked them out...and this movement started as a unity movement between all the sects. Us vs. them is hard to overcome.

lol. If we go with a godless world, there's no such thing as free will anyway. If that's so, then no, Christians are not to be held accountable for their deeds because genetically, there's no way for them to be any different.

What's with the need to hold people accountable?

I watch my cats escape their genetics. I'm guessing that I, their caretaker, am partly responsible, as I show them another way by example. I wonder what it was like when homosapien 1st started to go past its primate ways. It must have been a revelation and an awakening. I think of awakened homosapiens showing others "the way". I imagine they tried to record this somehow and pay homage to those who enlightened them. As they became more aware of life, they became more aware of death. They imagined an afterlife to ease their newly fleshed out fear.

OT. There is a bundle of nerves in the anus that give great pleasure when massaged. We poop, as we eat, because it feels good. It feels good going in too. Anyway, if the mention of homosexuality makes you straights think of butt sex, you may want to re-examine your own sexual orientation.

Anal sex isn't even shocking or a big deal, as you mentioned, there are nerves in there. Straight couples take part too, and even some straight men are open to the idea of those nerves being stimulated. Though, I find it odd the mention of homosexuality makes people go "ewww!! anal sex!" as a first thought...yeah, cause straight people dont take part in it, and as if that is all being gay is about.

To be honest I don't see why this thread even has anyone debating in it. We have kids singing hateful things and it is wrong they are doing so. Simple as that.

So your argument is ,well yea a lot of horrible things have been done in the name of Christianity, but horrible things have happened in the name of other religions as well. That's like Charles Manson saying "why don't you bash on Hitler and leave me alone." It doesn't work like that. So you say "stop bashing on Christians because you don't except our views."

This just deserves repeating. Brilliant and insightful!

Lol, thank you. I often find that history is a good tool to help one understand the present and make better choices for the future.

The "Children of Tolerance" promoting the "with us or against us" principle. Many other classics in this thread as well.

I get that what this "church" did was deplorable, but some of you people are really just jumping off the wagon and running off the cliff with this one. Maintain some level of reason and calculation if you want to uphold "tolerance".

Hate to burst your bubble but it is genetic.
The genetic scans showed a clustering of the same genetic pattern among the gay men on three chromosomes -- chromosomes 7, 8, and 10. These common genetic patterns were shared by 60% of the gay men in the study. This is slightly more than the 50% expected by chance alone.

Boy is that going to tick some people off.

Regarding the video, I found it quite offensive and an insult to true Christians, so I found the website for the church and wrote them a letter regarding how what this boy is singing goes against the teachings of the New Testament which is core to the Christian belief system, that we are not to judge others as we are not pure of sin or worthy to pass judgement on another, and that Christ specifically stated that only he and his father were to pass judgement.

I was very sincere and polite in my letter but also very clear about how things such as this serve only to push people away from Christ, which goes against what he requested of his followers.
