Read it in context. Who is Jesus speaking to (in Matthew)? The Jews, right? The Jews live under the Law. Christians are not found guilty of Sin, so there is no need to cut off our hands.

Now look to Revelation. Not all of it is literal, not all of it is metaphorical. It's neither all literal nor metaphorical, yet it's both. Revelation is probably the hardest to understand right behind Ezekiel. But, if you take it all literally, then the Dragon is literal. If you take it all metaphorically, then what is the 1,000 years? What is the New Jerusalem?

I'm not going to dictate and tell you which one is which. It's just what I believe. Just pray for guidance, read for yourself, and don't put your opinion into it - match scripture with scripture, and you'll find the answer.

Partygirl you so crazy!

Your phone is just a phone.

Those new gadgets are just gadgets.

That whole digital currency thing is a flawed idea at best.

If anything it is just tangling with to many unnecessary gadgets that tangles people and there lives up. Not the gadgets themselves, and our world is going toward more digitization and technological gadgetry and like anything it will have ups and downs on many levels.

But come on people…things are getting too close for comfort!. This isn’t like the old barcode scare, say, which I remember my dad freaking out about when I was a kid. Nobody makes us put barcodes on our hands and foreheads.

The New Testament by Christians, who were hunted down and killed by the Jews.
Therefore, when reading the OT you must flip things around: the Hebrew god, Jehovah/Yahweh is what Christians know to be Satan, and the Jews, the Anti-Christ:

When your Old Testament bible has "Lord" written, it is a translation from the Hebrew, "YHWH", or Yahweh, or Jehovah.

When it says, "Lord", in the New Testament, this comes from the Koine Greek, "Kurios".

Before the Council of Nicaea in 325 AD Judaized Christianity, it was widely known that the two gods were completely different entities.

Why did you think Jesus and his apostles were murdered by the Jews? Why do you think the Marcion Church, the first Christian church and canon, mysteriously vanished even though it had hundreds of thousands of followers? Who do you think actually burned down the Library of Alexandria after Jesus' resurrection?
