New Google Maps Update! Amazing!

New and latest version of google maps is now available.
The detail and resolution is amazing.

A must have for those that like to research.

When you get to the site,click on start your quest at the bottom left hand side for the new version.

Also on the map is a little gnome you can click on and move around for street views.

OH WOW that is so cool. Say what you want about google but they are awesome!

O H M Y ! ! ! !

I'm speechless and thank you for posting this. They literally *JUST* released this because I was on Google Earth for most of the night last night saving hundreds of images for my web site directories. Now they all look like low grade junk with what was released today. I'm just amazed... I can make out objects recognizably smaller than the windshield of one of the cars I had parked in my driveway and I can clearly see the make and model of every car on my street. This is more detail than I've ever seen in this format.

NICE! I'll be at this all night replacing and updating static images...Oh I'll enjoy it with this quality. They outdid themselves ! !

It works great with my Legend of Zelda game real world application.

You're right....I think I just located the princess, I could never find the evil castle she was being kept in on the previous versions of Google maps. Nice work Google!!

On the other hand. I looked up my hood from the map and nearby a house burnt down last year. The pic shows it intact. 2012 Copyright Google, huh? Am I missing something or are we that in the dark? I mean a year out?

Try blowing on the mouse, I read in some beta tech forums that this sometimes makes it play and look better.

then click the quest icon

then you can place the little character anywhere in the world and it will show the google street view except everything looks 8BIT, hope that helps.
