So, for this "heavy mass object" (what a ridiculous term, what's wrong with "massive object"?) to have any noticeable effect it would have to be extremely massive and well within the solar system. Any such object would be doing more than making noises. The planets would be acting like billiard balls on a fishing boat. They aren't. They are right where they should be.
