You don't have any proof that this scientist's work was intended to kill US. Perhaps all nuclear scientists should be killed since their nuclear technology is intended to kill SOMEONE....or is the killing justified only if the targets are Americans. Give me a break.

So with this line of reasoning(reported to have said) we should consider what Bush jr said to Chirac about gog and macgog, as well as Bush Sr's 'reported' nickname magog. The point is, anyone using religion to take over the world is wrong and should be scrutinized. But what are we to believe when it comes to he said she said, instead of evidence directly from the person saying it? I just wanted to respond to your exclamation about religion being used to destroy others for the sake of goodness, and it being hearsay. If Ahmadinejad or Bush did genuinely say this, then they are both wrong. But until I hear them say it directly, I will refrain from absolute condemnation for that specific action.
And yes I know what he said about wiping out Israel, and that I do condemn with certainty.

But this isn't a perfect world. That 'scientist' wasn't just some innocent guy. He was working to create nucelar weapons for that kook Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Oh so it's Iran that wants to start World War III. Tell me, has Iran put sanctions on the United States? Has Iran talked about bombing the United States? Has Iran invaded the countries at our borders? Has Iran overthrew our elected government and installed a pro-Iranian leader?

Nope. The United States did all of those things. We're the ones itching to start World War III. If they want a nuclear weapon, let 'em have one. We have thousands. What are they going to do, scream Allah before they nuke the world and kill everybody in an act of mutually assured destruction?

The citizens and (corrupt) government officials of America don't have the right to tell the citizens and government officials of Iran what to do with their country. That's their responsibility. How would America feel if another country said "No, you can't build those weapons, we're going to bomb you if you do"? How would we feel if we were being told we're the ones trying to start World War III for simply trying to build weapons to protect ourselves, weapons that dozens of other countries have?

All of that war propaganda goes right over my head, because it's all a bunch of garbage. I'm not a gullible idiot who will beat the war drums and absorb whatever baseless propaganda is thrown at me in order to fill the bank accounts of some military defense conractors.

At no time has Ron Paul said he thought Iran should have nukes. As far as Santorum he is beginning to look like a total nut job. As time goes by the more is discovered. Like his statement he wants to eradicate Islam. There are 1.5 billion Muslims on the planet. That should keep the troops busy. He brought his dead infant son home for the kids to play with it. He is very close and supported by Richard Perle among all people and eventually the fact that he is a close supporter of Sandusky has to eventually come out. Don't forget he was listed as one of the 3 most corrupt politicians in the Senate along with an investigation into several financial dealings. This is the leader of the Evangelical Christians if so then God help us all.

Really ? What about all those Russian Nuclear Scientists going as far back as the 1940's ? How come the United States Goverment Never tried to Kill them ? You know the answer , they did not because of the Respect the World had for International Law , something America has forgotten about today . By the way , do you Actually Believe what you hear about Iran's Motives for wanting Nuclear Energy ? Only for Bombs , and not for something else like Nuclear Power Generation or for Medical Research ? The ATS Motto comes to mind here ........

The thing I find most alarming about the Santorum vid is that he says something along the lines of, "we killed Alwaki, we killed this scientist, don't think we can assassinate people? We assassinate our own people, and you can expect more of it if I'm president."

No thanks.

This just goes to show you how heartless and incompetent some of these republican candidates are. Santorum is such a jackass. Countries would really negotiate with him in good faith after that comment. These candidates are so quick to talk tough, but none of them have ever served in the military except for Paul.

Our politicians have to stop saber rattling and start understanding that we share this rock with other countries who don't always believe in our way of life.
