So they did have it after all, lets see how this plays out shall we.... personally i don't think anything will come directly from this, but it wont help what is building with this area currently, what do you all think?

Will it be war?, will they ask for it back? is it a fake? is it real? i guess we wont know for sure if it is real as the U.S will probs try say it is a fake....

Is it just me or are they not giving a link or sharing the video?

.....This is precisely the reason we have drones. No loss of human life.

You would think they would put a self destruct mechanism in those things

Self destruct seems like a very good idea indeed, I guess they always hope to get them back .... even if they crash...

Self Destruct is a great idea in theory but an exploding drone would just be a bomb and would be interpreted as such if it were to blow up in foreign airspace.

unless it somehow douced itself in some kind of acid and melted lol

what do you mean NO LOSS OF LIFE ? these things kill many inocent people , they may be nice and safe for the operators but when they blast some house that it is believed to be occupied by a perceived enemy.
all neighbouring homes and property including the occupants are killed and destroyed

I really can't believe that Iran doesn't have it smeared all over the web...I would really like to see this footage that they are showing in their own country!

I would think this would be a war trophy for Iran...and they would want to stick it in the face of the world!

I think this might explain a few UFO theories at the same time.

This is just like catching the husband in the bed with the mistress. What is the USA gonna do about it. It's a catch 22. If they admit it was on a mission they are admitting to violating sovereign airspace and meddling in foreign affairs. If they say no then they are admitting that stealth drone technology is not invincible.

Is this the type of drone they call "The Beast of Kandahar" ?

From what I have heard, these type of technologies have built in thermite like properties that will melt through all the sensitive classified electronic parts in addition to a device that can emit a powerful EMP blast internally to destroy as much of the less classified electronics as possible.

So they may have the drone, but the most important parts are most likely damaged beyond recognition with the rest of the electronics needing major repair. Even then, the software is most likely completely gone as well.

They have claimed that that drone has been out of control.

Then it justifies violating sovereign airspace.

But is said that :

“The RQ-170 has a RTB [Return to Base] feature,” Thompson said. “In the event of a loss of the command link, the aircraft will automatically return to its point of origin and land itself.”

source

Then it should have came back to base after malfunctioning but it didn't.

At last goof for Iran :

1. A high-tech drone
2. Much information will be taken out of that device.
3. US has violated Iran' s airspace , Iran took the drone down , intact.

Looks like the Lockheed RQ-170... The "Beast of Kandahar"

Also this proves it wasn't "shot" down... Rather it may have been "hacked" like they originally said.

Who said that?

Both Iranian and US military personnel... I remember reading over 20+ articles about the drone and a few it was hacked.

Edit: www.emptywheel.net...

Speaking on a strictly "Strategic" point of view...

Who the hell is running that monkey show over at Langley or the Pentagon? Stealth chopper parts left in Pakistan [Shared with China] Drone captured by Iran.

With people like this running the show who needs to worry about spies?

Oh Never mind...
I forgot who is occupying 1600 Pennsylvania ave presently.
