Guy explains the current problem with our economy and how we need to move forward.

He talks about who he wants to create his own buisness but the current economic climate is backwards.

He has it right, education is the solution.

Occupy is about left or right? No. Occupiers are lazy? Nope. Occupiers uneducated? Certainly not.

Ignore the smear campaign, people like this are everywhere!

Now, many people will stop watching when he says "we need to fight the 1%" but give him a chance and watch the whole video, it makes a lot of sense.

edit- It pretty much starts at 55 seconds in, before that is just friendly banter.

Wow.... It didn't take that much for me to stop watching. Just skipping through to confirm the man never has the courage to show his face is enough to outright throw out anything he has to say. I'm sorry, but those who feel the need to hide rather than stand for their convictions and beliefs garner absolutely no respect whatever from me.

You don't have to be right, but you do have to stand up and be counted when you voice opinions like this. Again..Sorry to be a bit harsh..but this wanna-be bandit/desperado crap isn't cute and it isn't revolutionary. It's not even an original idea. It's the sign of a coward and he sure isn't alone.

He DOES NOT represent the overall movement of individual people though. I don't have to be an OWS supporter at this point to at least call *FAIL* on that aspect and try to keep things honest and fair on all this..... No need to add to the bad perceptions OWS already generates by itself by suggesting they represents MORE of the movement than they actually do.

What's stopping him from starting his own business? Last time I checked the Small Business Administration is alive and well.

I do agree with him that education is the solution, but, not the leftist politically correct crap that is being taught in our colleges and universities today.

I wouldn't say that Occupiers are uneducated, I will say that they are under educated. They have been given an agenda instead of an education. If they were properly educated the entire Occupy movement would be aimed in a different direction.

As far as lazy goes, I can't speak for all of them, but, the three that I talked with last Friday who were complaining about the lack of jobs, threw my business cards in my face when I told them that they could start Monday as soon as they passed a drug screening test. My purpose for going into Pittsburgh was to talk to an employment service about getting ten people to fill positions that we have open.

"Education" is what got them into this mess ... a fancy degree in pre columbian basket weaving or critical literary theory wont put food on the table. Too many people are far too educated and have absolutely no skills. Get a skill, even if it means getting your hands dirty (God forbid!)

Did you watch the video?
Guess not.

He was not talking about that sort of education, he was talking about educating each other about the economic crisis so people understand the current situation. The problem is sheep allowing wolves to ravage them, whether it be in DC or on wall street. The first step is for people to understand the system to begin to address the problems.

Well if you actually watched the video....

he is talking about banks loaning less out to small businesses. Makes more sense for banks to make laons to people to buy houses they cant afford, because then banks can just take the houses. They are not actually focused on stimulating the economy and helping out small businesses.

Oh, by the way. I am self employed and have an online business which is doing well, and I still support OWS. Play whatever card you like to smear OWS, but OWS makes perfect sense to me.

If anything, they are putting pressure on politicians and encouraging others to educate themselves. Nothing wrong with that.

You didn't even watch it and you still smeared it. You represent the pro-wall street movement very well, thank you for your response!

You also clearly haven't researched the anonymous movement. Hiding your face does not prove any of the assumptions you stated, it just shows he is there for ALL people and not just himself, that is the idea behind it.

You know what they say about assumptions don't you know?

"He DOES NOT represent the overall movement of individual people though. "

Why not? Because you said so? Because you'd rather the idiot's fox and cnn news hand picks to interview represent the movement? Are you really that afraid of OWS?

This is a peoples movement, whatever type of people WE say represents the movement, represents the movement. Very simple. You can decide who represents the movement by going down there yourself ya know, then you'll be able to spread whatever message you like. Heck, they will welcome you even if you don't want to wear a mask because you apparently have some pet peeve about even something as irrelevant as that.

So preferring to stay anonymous or have as little attention brought onto himself makes his message worthless?

How about this, forget his face and all that crap and just listen to the message, what is really important here.

Is fairly easy to figure out who people are nowadays just with their face and facial recognition software, which we all know facebook uses, for example.

So in summation, this post, all previous posts, and all future posts by you are worthless because your avatar doesnt have your face in it.

whats wrong, dont like your own medicine? Go ahead, plaster your face all over the internet.
Doubtful

Why is it that every ows thread has to have a video?? If you spend anytime on this site you quickly learn that a you-tube video is less than useless. We take it at face value this wasn't staged? Come on now, lets get real! Personally I find the videos to be a pretty weak way to make your point, unless you are dealing with people who need to have pictures to get your point across.

ploy. lol.

Occupy is occupy whether you are a 9/11 truther or otherwise. There is no central control, the way the movement... moves is determined by each individual.

I had seen a report where occupy was pushing to get money out of politics especialy capital hill. That is something I can support but it is as someone else said. It is whatever you wan't it to be.

It is all really to bad because at this rate I don't believe there is anything that will come out of it.

There is no unity or focus that alone will destroy any movement.

Even worse, no "education" and no skills ... and he wonders why his life is the way it is ... must TPTB.

I'm sorry the dude can't get a loan, but he could still start a business if he wanted to. My grandfather-in-law started with nothing during the Great Depression. He walked to the nearest town and sold apples door to door. He did odd jobs. He did whatever he had to. He never learned how to read....but died a millionaire because he worked hard. He never took out any kind of a loan...he built businesses from the ground up...he actually GAVE people in his community personal loans in his later years. THAT'S what you can do in America. So don't give me a sob story that you can't get a loan, and that's why you can't be successful.

Also, the dude keeps talking about products we want the corporations to make and how we want them made in a America, and we want the workers paid a living wage. That all sounds good, doesn't it? Who could be against that? Well, just wait until the corporations actually did exactly that....how much would Americans be complaining then about the cost of the products made in America by Americans paid "a living wage". The problem is that Americans want it ALL...we don't want prices to go up, but we want everyone to be paid well.

My point is that it is not as simple as he makes it sound.

what a load of rubbish..

one of the richest men I met had only a primary school education.
he worked his way up from nothing to owning several companies and casinos along with supported many charitable humanitarian causes before he passed away.

theres many who like him dont have 'education' but they work for what they want and make it just fine even in todays world.

life is what you make of it you want something bad enough get up off your lazy arses stop whinging and work for it.
always been that way and always will be. the world doesnt owe you a living or anything else for that matter.
