ok. this show GLEE...normally just annoys me (my gf makes me watch it with her). tonight...it went pretty far.

there's a couple of gay kids on the show, aiming to make gay "ok" for the younger crowd. ok...whatever. they've tackled bullying on the show...that was cool. so this show gets watched by all the kids.

tonight...they had these high school boys (played by i'm assuming adult actors) kissing. and then...fighting because one of them wanted to have sex cuz he was drunk after they used fake id's to get into 21+ gay bar and were drinking. and then, at the end of the show...shows snippits of the 2 boys' night of bliss (obviously doesn't show them bareback but it shows them laying on the ground, clothed, fire crackling in the background, holding hands, looking into each others eyes after there were several suggestions towards them having sex and this being the night they were going to have sex, so you know what they were doing in front of that fire).

while i have gay friends and don't have a problem with homosexuality...i do have a problem with high school boys being portrayed in sexual manners with each other on a show that streams into the eyeballs of the majority of teens in this county (and who knows where else).

again...this is not attacking the gay aspect of it...just the out right belligerent sexuality of it. i would have been a little uncomfortable watching some of the scenes if it were supposed to be a high school boy and girl. and again, nothing against gay men but seeing 2 dudes kiss is disgusting, to me. there's just something gross about it.

First of all, it's the gayest show on tv at the moment.

Second, being gay is ok.

Well then what's the big deal?

EDIT Homos see straight people kissing all the time on tv and there aren't any issues about that mate.

it was kinda like we were just watching out of amazement. deer in the head lights kinda thing. we were completely blown away by how far the show went. she turned the tv off in the middle of that fire scene. it was just downright odd to see 2 boys being passionate with each other...

Your gf puts a gun to your head and makes you stay in the room while she watches it?!!! WHAT BRO?? I'm pretty sure that's illegal.

yeah...i know. it's one of those things that just kinda happens. my computer is in the tv room and she watches the show as i sit here and i cannot help but see it and hear it. she pays bills so i cannot deny her watching a show. i never watch tv and she watches very little so i can't say anything, really.

Exactly! He'd have to be really insecure with his sexuality to let a few minutes a gayness ruin his night.
Oh... wait... that's the problem!!

What's wrong with being pro gay?? Seriously what decade are you living in ? I saw the episode and it wasn't graphic at all it was very tasteful. If something like two boys cuddling & being comfortable with their sexuality is enough to make you rant on a website then I feel really sorry for you. I'm sure you wouldn't have an issue with it if it was two girls kissing. I think what Glee has done to support the LBGT community is amazing especially how much it has helped young people embrace their sexuality.

To many teens that are gay.....I think that this show is probably....a great comfort and moral support for them...some teens being gay is a reality....they are just portraying the truth. There was no porno going on. Children will learn more about some of the different sides of life watching this show......so when they go off to live on their own....life won't be such a culture shock to them.

head phones? I mean, my husband watches ufc crap in the living room, so I play with my phone while wearing headphones and I don't wake up dreaming of hot, sweaty men.

I see that with straight teens in t.v. shows having sex all the time. I don't really see the difference.

Unless you're saying they shouldn't be portraying teens having sex at all, which is an interesting proposal and one that I could see.

It doesn't bother me when it comes to women, as in, whatever suits you, sexy even, but it totally bothers me when it comes to men, can't stand it and have a hate on for it. What a division in my mind.

If you're going to council me, let it be from a lady, not a woman.

Being Homosexual isn't a problem. It's a fact and part of life, even if some of us find the very thought offensive and disgusting. Yeah, some of us really do.

Having said that....Public Display of Affection is the problem and I agree with the OP. This is just marginal with heterosexual children on TV without adding in the other aspect which society *IS* still split on..particularly after the very underage kids are depicted busting age laws to use forged ID to drink to excess. Wow... Great show there with a real fine set of values.

Why not throw in the underage intimacy scene with it? Isn't that how nights of drunken irresponsibility end in real life, too? Plenty of kids having kids to prove that true I guess.... Nothing quite like validating it in TV shows kids form the fan base for though.

HA! Dude it's a show about BEING GAY! What do you mean it went pro-gay tonight?! It's a show about being gay! You're worried about the damage this show does to fragile little minds, but how many tens of millions of kids play violent war games like Call of Duty or Battlefield? Violence is fine to be streamed into the eyeballs of little kids, but being gay is not?

The fact that there's a fan base and how big it is, is testament to how many either no longer share your opinion or in fact never did.

Tell you all what, why don't all the people reading this thread that dislike homosexuality go ahead and actually direct their disgust at me. I can take it all because none of you have any idea what it's like to be bullied like that.

If you do know, then you won't post a thing aimed at me or other homosexuals.

Otherwise just back the f off homos and get a life.
