Moore is a tool! I agree!

What Neo is trying to do is discredit OWS by equating Moore and his politics to the OWS movement. It is disingenuous at best.

Your assertion that OWS is a "leftist" movement is wrong! Plain and simple.

I am not a lefty. I used to be a Republican until I grew up, but I still went to my local Occupy. The local Occupy just protested Obama's local HQ to voice their anger over his lack of leadership. Do die hard lefties do that? I don't think so.

I have stood next to communists, Neocons and even malitia members at these protests and no one cares about a leftist takeover of OWS.

You, NEO and others like you are simply scared that this may actually get some results. It has already. Notice how the media sure loves talking about it now?

So you are going to have to do better than the continual rants about socialist Obama-lovers!

The point being, it is not any individual who is responsible, it is the culture of personal and corporate greed. And Moore falls into that group, no matter how much he doesn't want to, UNLESS he paid his serfs well. It's all about sharing the wealth/profits.

Neo, my friend, in this we must disagree. Moore is not part of the 1%.
Moore is part of the 99% who wants what isn't his, who wants to take from others who have more and redistribute it to those who have not earned it, who wants to blame others for his failures and take when he doesn't succeed.

Moore is a hypocrite, sociopath, socialist, liar, bloviator, limosine liberal-progressive. And in this, he actually has more in common with the OWS crowd than those they are protesting.

Keep on believing that some Mexican is the richest in the world and there is a nice dual deck bridge that sits about 5 miles from me that I'd love to sell you. That is a lie! How come no Rothschilds or Rockerfellers or any member of any family I listed is on the Forbes list, that's right, Forbes isn't allowed to post the list correctly and accurately if they wish to stay in business.

These families can in one move transfer more money in one sitting then each of the Fortune 10 combined and not make a dent into their accounts.

Stop challenging me as you obviously fail each and every time you attempt. You cannot outdebate me here and will lose. Quit trying!

I ask again,is Moore emptying his bank accounts, emptying them, opening his doors in Lower Manhattan,to those in need? Or is he telling a story to people, while he makes millions, and the Corporate movie studios even more millions? Talk about Hypocrisy. Same as all the actors who support the OWS movement. They still live like they are better then the rest.

My first post was on topic and covered the issue. You conveniently managed to comment on none of the statements I made.

Why is that?

If I came on this thread and said that OWS, Moore and Obama are a bunch of socialist communists that want to make you gay and take away your guns you would have no problem.....but since I disagree with your intent of this thread you sidestep the issue.

Well since it has no clear goals what is it supposed to produce wall street reform? No thanks.

So what exactly is it that you stand for?

A country that is dictated by the left? You want to take all the power away from the corporations and give it to the unions and leave their power unchecked?

What is it you hope to accomplish?

You're going to protest until things get violent like Egypt and then take it by force?

You stood by whom and what and nobody was concerned? Really thats a shocker.

I believe Moore wants validation as a hero, hence he is courting the OWS movement, but I need proof that he has paid those who made his dreams happen were paid well for their efforts. Otherwise, he is just another king-of-the-hill.

Your going to tell me he cares? How can he? He lives not only better then you,he flaunts it.

Hes Pimpin OWS for a documentary!

No demands huh? Then what is this? :

It is Official Declaration Of The Gneral Assembly Of #OccupyWallStreet!

As we gather together in solidarity to express a feeling of mass injustice, we must not lose sight of what brought us together. We write so that all people who feel wronged by the corporate forces of the world can know that we are your allies.

As one people, united, we acknowledge the reality: that the future of the human race requires the cooperation of its members; that our system must protect our rights, and upon corruption of that system, it is up to the individuals to protect their own rights, and those of their neighbors; that a democratic government derives its just power from the people, but corporations do not seek consent to extract wealth from the people and the Earth; and that no true democracy is attainable when the process is determined by economic power. We come to you at a time when corporations, which place profit over people, self-interest over justice, and oppression over equality, run our governments. We have peaceably assembled here, as is our right, to let these facts be known.

They have taken our houses through an illegal foreclosure process, despite not having the original mortgage.
They have taken bailouts from taxpayers with impunity, and continue to give Executives exorbitant bonuses.
They have perpetuated inequality and discrimination in the workplace based on age, the color of one’s skin, sex, gender identity and sexual orientation.
They have poisoned the food supply through negligence, and undermined the farming system through monopolization.
They have profited off of the torture, confinement, and cruel treatment of countless animals, and actively hide these practices.
They have continuously sought to strip employees of the right to negotiate for better pay and safer working conditions.
They have held students hostage with tens of thousands of dollars of debt on education, which is itself a human right.
They have consistently outsourced labor and used that outsourcing as leverage to cut workers’ healthcare and pay.
They have influenced the courts to achieve the same rights as people, with none of the culpability or responsibility.
They have spent millions of dollars on legal teams that look for ways to get them out of contracts in regards to health insurance.
They have sold our privacy as a commodity.
They have used the military and police force to prevent freedom of the press.
They have deliberately declined to recall faulty products endangering lives in pursuit of profit.
They determine economic policy, despite the catastrophic failures their policies have produced and continue to produce.
They have donated large sums of money to politicians, who are responsible for regulating them.
They continue to block alternate forms of energy to keep us dependent on oil.
They continue to block generic forms of medicine that could save people’s lives or provide relief in order to protect investments that have already turned a substantial profit.
They have purposely covered up oil spills, accidents, faulty bookkeeping, and inactive ingredients in pursuit of profit.
They purposefully keep people misinformed and fearful through their control of the media.
They have accepted private contracts to murder prisoners even when presented with serious doubts about their guilt.
They have perpetuated colonialism at home and abroad.
They have participated in the torture and murder of innocent civilians overseas.
They continue to create weapons of mass destruction in order to receive government contracts.*

To the people of the world,

We, the New York City General Assembly occupying Wall Street in Liberty Square, urge you to assert your power.

Exercise your right to peaceably assemble; occupy public space; create a process to address the problems we face, and generate solutions accessible to everyone.

To all communities that take action and form groups in the spirit of direct democracy, we offer support, documentation, and all of the resources at our disposal.

Join us and make your voices heard!

*These grievances are not all-inclusive.

Adopted, voted on and passed September 29, 2011!

Corporate greed my behind.

www.usdebtclock.org...

Social Security Liability $15,311,000,000
Prescription Drug Liability $20,256,996,000
Medicare Liability $ 80,560,870,000

Total $116 trillion of promises made that can never be paid back.

Household Assets $ 58 trillion dollars.
Corporate Assets $ 15 trillion dollars.

$10 trillion in cash in circulation that has made the terms millionaires and billionaires and trilliionaires meaningless.

And this is where I love talking about politics!

You assume I want a leftist takeover? Where did I say that?

You assume I support unregulated unions? Where did I say that?

This is exactly the proof I need to show that people will try to marginalize, demonize or ASSume everything is a liberal attempt to run everything just because you disagree with it. It's almost as if you are reading from a pre-written set of talking points.

Are you?

Sad excuse. The Federal Government does not put Social Security on the card as it's paid by the trust fund that was setup to handle it. Same applies for Medicaid, try again!
