I don’t care what someone has done to you, for a person of authority to act like that is truly disgusting. Clearly nudging people aside works so why go that far as to risk killing someone. It would have been very easy for the lady to die and id like to see the NYPD stick up for themselves then.
We are seeing a rise in potentially lethal tactics being used by police and I don’t think they know what they would be getting themselves in for if they were to kill a protester. Accidently or not.

Ask yourself, what happens when the government cant afford to pay police?
I think these guys should choose their sides carefully, because actions like this prove that police are truly gutless.
Id love to think we live in a world where cops would be condemned for such actions, but no they continue to push the borders.

exactly right, not only that it actually proves our point even more..
could you imagine the anger if a protester got killed? seriously they are playing with peoples lives and not thinking about the consequences.

I will say it again...Police should watch out for themselves as well. Do they really think that they will be protected after TPTB get what they want? NO!

They will lose their homes, pay higher taxes and face loss of income, retirement, insurance and medical care just like the rest of us. They will be tossed aside like trash when their purpose has been served.

They are NOT immune because they are on the other side of the line right now. Someday, they will be in the same food line and someone is going to remember their face.

blocking traffic!!

Why should anyone be able to block traffic to someone
who just got off of work and is trying to get home
to there family??

I feel no sympathy, it is actually quite funny!!
The protester in the green shirt was pushing the cop
and got laid out, exactly what they were asking for.
This has turned into a circus fest..
Look the guy is clearly pushing the officer
the protester is grabbing the cops sleeve resisting
to get off the road..

He pushed he grabbed the officers sleeve, he got punched!!
The protesters were upping the ante.
You can not block the roads!!

What I want to know is,
what happens when the people fight back against A holes like this pig.
What happens when the entire mob decides to over run these cops in order toprotect and free a fellow citizen?
What Happenes when there aren't enough cops to deal with a mob of angry protesters who have become "violent"/decide they are done being vicimized????

Hold up here, that woman struck the police officer and she recieved an appropriate response. While in spirit I can identify with OWS the truth is this was not "peaceful protest". What is really going on is a bunch of children with no respect for ANY authority and no sense of accountability for their actions. Yes the NYPD often is seen abusing their power but ,if you swing on a cop (or anyone)
you should expect to get knocked the heck out.

i dont think the protester was asking for it, pulling on someons sleeve does not give the cop right to deck him out..
