The mainline Globalists actually most likely funded and organized (Soros etc) the initial stages of this event, and also paid the cops to beat the crowd up a little bit to generate attention (to raise taxes as the solution-austerity). This has been discussed at length around these parts. info about the Soros-Rothschild connections

However, this is an opportunity. Think about it.
We have the capability to hijack this astroturf movement and turn it into something real and meaningful.

Just imagine that. The people hijacking TPTB's fake movement and turning it into a real one that focuses on TPTB and refuses to let them distract us with decoys.

Flash, you deserve a rack of stars for this one! If we remain
diligent and wake up enough pink patriots (and I don't mean
to sound derogatory, I was also one until '72) to the original
architects of this movement-- themselves mostly Estonian
communists, and co-opt the sucker into a real putsch against
the bankrollers; the mainstream media will be hamstrung into
reporting the real cause and effect.
I went through the painful process of self-repulsing from a
paleo-conservative too. The false left right no longer can hold
any water, because people are waking up on both sides to the
simple fact that TPTB know no political idealogy except power
through fraud.

I saw a good quote and almost forgot the whole deal, BUT
the gist of Virginiana Wolfe's :"On the oustskirts of every
painful disaster is an observer pointing." God help us all
out in the chill to wake up in time.

The real criminals wear little hankies in their coat pockets to clean themselves up when they drop a sweat as they rape the nation of its wealth and glory.

Oh Dennis.... If he really wants to get behind a movement to help this nation, perhaps he can spearhead some legitimate legislation that actually stands a chance to get passed. Start with sweeping tax reform, dissolve the IRS, and overhaul the Fed.

Focus on the root problem PLEASE. The bloated, out of control govt. You know, the same govt. and congrssmen that have been looking the other way and padding their pockets for the past 20 years. They've done a great job at creating job security for themselves and at creating their own wealth.

There is a start. The Bankers are just operating within the framework granted to them. It's all bad but you have to pull the weed from the root!!!

Sorry this protest has gone beyong the banks..

There is so much wrong with our world, government, society. Life in general sucks for a lot of people and they are fed up with it, everyone wants change, change for a better life. People with college degrees are working 3 part time jobs with no benefits, insurance and still can't make ends meet while rich people live high on the hog blowing money on vanity and luxuries like it's nothing.

I'm not saying people that worked hard for what they have do not deserve it, but there are a lot of people that make way more than they are worth, corporate, CEO's, banksters etc.. These guys get big raises and bonuses while the slaves have to work the job of 3 men, work longer and longer hours, for less money than 1 man should be making. Just so they can not be able to afford their cost of living.

People are fed up.

It's hard to be a leader and not memorize some lines. Yes, to some of us, it seems disingenuous. However, I don't think most people have the ability to free flow in a powerful manner. I'm betting those crazy morning radio shows are scripted. I'm betting most the best selling raps were tweaked at some point. People who are leery to support a directionless movement have been calling for leaders. Scripts are a great way to lead.

I used to meet the right hands of the elite who who were paid a lot to police the slaves. It's hilarious that they've been "let go" too. How does it feel?

Kucinich is one of the few members of Congress who wasn't born with a silver spoon in his mouth.

He is the son of Truck Driver and understands what the working class is all about.

People who intend to convey a clear and concise message as in a speech, DO tend to write them down first.

Kucinich's message is well documented in his bill, HR 2990 which essentially states the same as his message here does.

Read the Bill please.

I haven't had a chance to see the video, as I can't watch videos at my job (the nerve lol), but I have been a big Dennis Kucinich fan since 2003. If I were ever to vote democrat it would be him (just like if I were ever to vote Repub, I would vote for Ron Paul). He is one of the few politicians that speak from the heart and is willing to tackle issues that most believe is political suicide. Plus his wife is steaming

I just wanted to address what people were saying about Dennis jumping on the bandwagon similar to what certain republicans did with the tea party. Looking in from the outside with little context I would probably think the same thing, BUT if you have followed Dennis Kucinich from the start you would know that he has been saying these things way before OWS. That's like saying that Ron Paul after the Tea Party formed jumped on the bandwagon which would equally as false if you know his voting history.

Dennis voted no to the Iraq War
Dennis voted no to the Patriot Act
Dennis voted no to the Bailouts

The guy makes sense, but right at the beginning he mentioned his friend and "the Friend" said comrade..Then as the video moves forward the gentlemen speaking mentions Social economic equality.Sounds good..But supporting the word comrade and social in the context of this video representation has me looking the other way.

We've done it the OTHER way since the 1970's.

Corrupt Government is NOBODY's idea of Government -- the idea that government is BAD is a self-fulfilling prophesy for failure. There is NO WAY to solve big problems, organize millions of people, or support commerce without SOME SORT of organization. If you only have anarchy, no rules, and "winner take all" -- eventually you have ONE winner who "takes it all." The game of Monopoly, we should all notice -- ENDS when one person makes everyone else bankrupt. The winner however, cannot keep playing when everyone else has no money.

We've been told that "redistributing wealth" is the worst thing ever -- it's stealing by Government. How do you think the rich got richer? Stealing from us with government. Big Agriculture gets corn subsidies and overpriced fuel. Big Oil gets land for pennies, military troops to secure cheap wells, tax breaks to drill as if it were a charity. Big Banking gets automatic payments for printing money, and the risk is on the taxpayer but the profits go to the bankers, and about every 14 years there is a bailout. Do we need more examples?

Businesses are not hiring because there is no market to sell to. There is no market to sell to because wages for the Middle Class have been flat or trending downward while the growth of wealth at the top has been geometric. Lower wages and outsourcing jobs made more profits for the owners. Greater wealth and power meant more influence in government. The ENTIRE problem is due to the success and concentration of wealth and power. UNTIL the money is redistributed -- somehow, there is no reason to EARN it again. The whole point of Progressive taxes isn't about "fairness" -- it's about preserving Capitalism AND that the only reason to have corporations is to benefit the Public - not to create wealthy, powerful people who can control the government.

Corporations are sitting on trillions of dollars right now -- they have their greatest profits ever.

NOBODY wants the status quo more than those who "won" -- but the entire economic system is breaking down because there is nothing more to WIN. The last source of "big money" is Social Security and government -- and that is exactly what is being targeted. Contracts for security, contracts to "manage" public resources, and contracts for prisons.

The only profit to be had now is from turning the middle class into surfs, and when we are no longer wealthy enough to "steal from" anymore, then it will be corporations targeting each other, until it's just a few corporations running the world.

>> Just as the industrial revolution created massive changes, I think now we are in a situation where increasingly powerful computers are creating the "end of labor." So many of the jobs left are shuffling paper. Accounting, money transfers, legal. People are cheaper still than robots, but that will not always be the case -- so the idea that you can work hard, study and always make a living isn't going to be true -- there will always be people who cannot work as hard and keep up so what do you do with them? There are always winners and losers -- but how much should people win vs. lose? That's the only real debate here.

Companies and markets cannot grow indefinitely. There are no NEW markets anymore, nor untapped resources that can indefinitely support increasing consumption. We are up against the carrying capacity of the planet. So unfettered capitalism and unmanaged resources are going to lead to catastrophe -- we cannot continue doing the same things we have always done.

The FUTURE is either some sort of Democratic Socialism -- or it's War and the spoils go to the winners, and finally they fight amongst themselves.

I suspect that the protests are becoming large enough that the Agents Provocateurs will be unleashed soon.

That will probably make the 1960's era protests look like a cake walk.

So far things have been relatively peaceful....

That's nice, but do you know what the word "friend" represents in America? It represents a person that you care about, and who cares about you, who is in there with you, doing the heavy lifting.

No offense but your definition of the word friend sucks, and the rest of us want it back.

I don't believe I gave a definition of friend to begin with and furthermore I didn't make the video, the comrades did.
