I'm an electrician who works for a company that makes toilet paper and hand towel. Interesting stuff, I know. But it pays the bills

That actually makes me wonder whether people do actually "Plug leaky buckets" for a living

hadn't though of it like that...
and now I have to wonder if that is not another name for the oldest profession. That is given the number of corporate idiots I have worked with that where nicknamed "leaky bucket"

Software testing in bio / chemical research.
I test the software that run on machines that we supply to bio / chemical research companies.

Enjoyable job breaking things, playing with Lasers and linear motors.
It is part of my destructive nature, even my wife says I am good at it. oh well.

It can be a pain though when one wrong configuration setting on software smashes up £20K of polished mirrors though.

Never a dull day !

I could do that as a sideline any tips for a would be secret squirrel?

my work normally involves me fixing broken corporates but work is quite slow at the moment.. it's as tho they are all perfectly healthy or that my digging into problems scares the poop out of them
as if I'm not sure which

I'm a government shill.

I get paid to sit on internet forums making sure people don't really find out the world is controlled by mice.

not surprised you feel like that I picked the expression working on a project for Nortel and liked it so much that I used it as often as I can

I am a sailor, sailing the seven sea's.
When not sailing( I need some steady gound under my feet sometimes), i am a Hotel technician(handy man), for a four star hotel, and a bunch of lower star hotel's.

My biggest acomplishment with work, is participating in building the Oeresundsbroen between Denmark and Sweden from the seaside.

I just realised, i have alot of IT collegue's on ATS!

How are you guys holding up so far?

That reminds me of an internship i had years ago when i was on a support desk and someone's computer wouldn't start up.. So since she was calling from down the hall, i walked over to see the problem.

One guess what prevented the computer from starting up? (Most IT collegue's probably already know the answer)

Been a boat captain my whole life. Every floating thing you can think of, dive boat, parasail boat, rescue boat, tall ships, all the way up to mega yachts.

But now, I've "swallowed the anchor" and I am a sleazebag selling timeshares in Mexico.

I also do voice overs.

Haha I worked in construction a lot before deciding to get a degree. I was following my dads footsteps in doing commissioning engineering for buildings, he gets to travel a lot. Was in Yemen a few months ago and the day after he left the one western hotel where all the westerners eat was grenaded by some loonie, he wouldna been there had he stayed a day longer so I think that was a job I wouldnt have wanted to persue. Although being an officer in an infantry regiment after I leave Uni isn't exactley going to get me sent to Carribean for deployment

Like I said I enjoy self abuse! (j/k)!
