Hi Everyone!!
Have been a long time lurker, and have posted a few replies to various threads.
Have to say that I love this place, I can't wait for my daily fix of alternative news. There are some really interesting things going on in our world and its great to see it presented in an informative manner, and its clear that there are some very very smart people here on ATS.

Anyway, my name is Dave and I live in Newcastle upon Tyne in the UK.
I have chimed in on a couple of Elenin threads with my take on this all, its as feasible as some of the more "out there" theories doing the rounds and combines several themes that seem popular here on ATS.
Namely, comet related doom and gloom, predictions and hollywood's inside knowledge in trying to forewarn us!

This whole Elenin business has covered just about every possible scenario except one!!
When the earth passes through the tail we are going to experience strange events here on earth, this was predicted in the 1986 Stephen King film Maximum overdrive.

Well its about as plausable as some of the other "theories" out there!!!!!
Very entertaining film BTW incase you aint seen it!!
