I agree, I am just going be be lazy and claim ModernAcademia is a CIA disinfo agent out to discredit Anonymous. But i wont bother proving this or do any investigation... if i say ModernAcademia is a CIA agent then it has to be true, just take my word for it. i really wont bother trying to understand what Anonymous is, or jump on IRC. My arm chair is way too comfy to make me budge.

BTW ever occur to anyone that Anonymous can acquire EX military people who once worked on the inside? People who know the way around, who to hack and how? people just as disgusted with the system as us? There is nothing of consequence going on at the Bohemian grove. Sensationalists announce "explosive material" to gain website-clicks but never actually produce that material. If they wont produce the supposedly explosive material but merely announce what they "could" unleash, Im not interested and neither should anyone else be.

We have threads here everyday ANNOUNCING disclosure of something or other. News that actually discloses is one in a Million.

I really wish people would stop comparing Anonymous to Wikileaks.

Wikileaks always had to rely on the leaks that were provided to them. And once they started to become well known, the chances of more leaks being provided to them decreased rapidly.

Anonymous, on the other hand, technically have the means at their disposal to create more leaks. Sure, a certain degree of fortune (or, more specifically, lax security) is required to achieve those leaks - but the means are there. So while there was a bit of 'put up or shut up' when it came to Wikileaks, the same simply does not apply to Anonymous. I highly doubt they are strategically holding anything back - but I also see nothing stopping them from obtaining more info & leaks (I guess it's not technically a leak if the info is stolen rather than leaked, but meh - semantics)

Probably because it isn't easy; it takes years of learning and practice, and constant work from then on to maintain your abilities in the face of ever evolving computer technology. The reason adults haven't been doing it for 'years' is because the internet hasn't even been household for two decades yet, and no "adults" have been raised with the skills and resources to do what certain anon members are capable of.

ATS is anonymous. It's an example of "stage one" of anonymous which is becoming aware of the injustice and tyranny.

I have been fortunate to have met many members of "The Powers That Be.". I'm not trying to brag, simply stating facts. As a camera operator, I have worked in the White House, Capitol Hill and the Pentagon. As a stage director on most of the cable political affairs shows in DC. On a social level, I have been a guest at John D. Rockafeller's estate Pocantico in Tarrytown, NY.

Having met these people, I remember being a little surprised initially that these powerful men, though perhaps more intelligent than the average college grad, they were really no different from other successful men I had met all my life.

Many of these "boogey men" simply profit from the old adage "It's not what you know. It's who you know." I bet most people on ATS given the same access and privilege would have done the same thing. The problem is that it has gotten out of hand. It has gone way too far. It's time to do something.

There are a few people in key positions who I believe are Evil in the biblical sense. Most persons in power, when presented with the fact that the vast majority of people find their actions unacceptable, they will become willing to consider solutions.

just spent some time reading up on this, it's insane. very disturbing if true. the pieces of the puzzle seem to fit together in a very troubling way with this particular story.

although i'm sure the chances of THIS being something Anonymous got their hands on - next to nothing.
