Wow, perhaps you meant Rimonim Optima Hotel in Ramat-Gan? For someone who stays there alot can't even get the name of the hotel right. Next time you pull out a name of a hotel....you'd at least know where you are staying!

The link above gives a perfect description of the laws and regulations governing dual citizenship. I based my comment on the 1940 Nationality law which at that time prohibited dual nationals. I apologize to the forum for my mistake and admit I should have researched it furthur.

Actually the hotel in ramat gan refers to themselves as optima Towers . Care to get on topic.

how bout we already give 2.7 billion every year to isreal??? definate conflict of interest. they are/have been recieving enormous sums or our tax money every year for decades. why does our govt keep giving money we dont have to countries that dont even believe in our way of life much less a country that was founded on a religion?(just substitute jewish for muslim)

your right my bad meant 2.7 billion . but the point of my post is any money makes it a conflict of interest. as well as why do we give any money(that we dont have) to countries that dont fit our beliefs ie countries that are founded on religion which would include isreal. id like to stop all foriegn aid.

as far as your response of we do it to create jobs in america really? at this rate any jobs your claming if not now will soon be in china. in either case giving our tax money to foriegn countries as way to increase jobs makes no sense. employment creates tax revenue. nothing from nothing leaves nothing.

the problem with socialism is eventualy you run out of other peoples money. try and remember tax money is our money not the governments.

to date conservitive estimates for total aid given to isreal is 114 billion dollars. sorry i havent figured out how to put in links but maybe if your really nice google will help you!

In pursuance of this tenet, the State of Israel has absorbed survivors of the Holocaust, refugees from the countries in which they had resided, as well as many thousands of Jews who came to settle in Israel of their own volition.

The Law of Return (1950) grants every Jew, wherever he or she may be, the right to come to Israel as an oleh (a Jew immigrating to Israel) and become an Israeli citizen.

For the purposes of this Law, "Jew" means a person who was born of a Jewish mother or has converted to Judaism and is not a member of another religion.

Israeli citizenship becomes effective on the day of arrival in the country or of receipt of an oleh's certificate, whichever is later. A person may declare, within three months, that he/she does not wish to become a citizen.

Since 1970 the right to immigrate under this Law has been extended to include the child and the grandchild of a Jew, the spouse of a Jew, the spouse of a child of a Jew and the spouse of a grandchild of a Jew. The purpose of this amendment is to ensure the unity of families where intermarriage had occurred; it does not apply to persons who had been a Jews and had voluntarily changed their religion.

Democrats and republicans are slated to finalize the 2011 budget in the coming days. ....
