What "terror plots" has obl carry out in those years? Because all I can remember at the moment are some crappy videos.

I see a increased threat for 30 day after they got him then i see any plans that may have been made and possibly been at bin laden's compound canceled or changed.

The terrorist involved in these later plans will now believe the cops will be waiting to trap them when they try to attack there targets.

I understood it as talking about either freight trains (a LOT of goods are still moved via freight train) which would disrupt trade and commerce. I was also thinking they were talking about subway stations like in New York. Both are pretty serious threats.

Also, I'm not sure if the threats were specific to the US? Maybe something like attacking the chunnel?

I don't know, I just don't think it was talking about attacking old school recreational train riders.

I think obl was an oppertunist, lol, he figured the nutjobs that followed him would believe "he did that" and he got to live comfortably, with a few young wives to boot.

This could be their master plan.... to have a reason to lock it all down, hasn't this what everybody was been dreading and predicting!

So from hijacking planes with box-cutters to sticking rubbish, benches, pavement (sidewalk) slabs onto train tracks? Either these guys have lost all funding and Mr Bin Laden had to downgrade his plans or they didn't pull off 9/11.

What would happen if they did manage to derail a few trains?? Well not soon after I'd guess you'd have to pass through a TSA checkpoint and get your s*** felt up.

I can completely understand where you're coming from, but it said bridges and valleys? That made me think more rural US than densely populated Subways and whatnot. I could slightly understand attacking a freight train, but even that just seems stupid. If trains really were the targets then OBL really was hittin' the pipe these past couple of years.

seems to me like they know of the economic issues that are coming for the usa and what better man to usher in freedom stealing laws, secret police actions, and general "if you arnt with us you are against us" mentality than MR OBL himself....or rather his secret files on his computer beside the file full of burka porn .....

I totally agree with R3N3G4D3, so trains are the next target? Seriously? The group that supposedly carried out one of the most elaborate and well coordinated terrorist attacks ever, is now looking at tampering with pieces of train tracks? Its like da Vinci painting the Mona Lisa one week, then doodling in a coloring book with one crayon the next. I'm sure next week its gonna be announced they planned on putting nails in taxi tires in the hopes of them blowing out. I can see the TSA on every street corner in NY now.
