FBI Raids Chuck E. Cheese For "Undermining U.S. Currency"

At Market
thewarningsigns.blogspot.com

The FBI and the Secret Service showed their willingness today to utilize the expanded definitions of “counterfeit currency” and “domestic terrorism” brought about by the recent conviction of Bernard von NotHaus of the alternative currency outlet “Liberty Dollar” when the agencies initiated a surprise raid on an unsuspecting Chuck E. Cheese establishment in Des Moines, Iowa.

Too many jobsworths with too much time and too little work I'm afraid. Chuckecheese should bar ALL federal workers from their premises like that coffee shop owner did?.
That'll teach them to be pedantic, and have no sense of fun.

Maybe we should all withdraw our cash from the Banks and not let them get any interest from our savings again?
Not that we did the last time either, not enough co-ordination.

Thanks to mayabong for posting about this - everyone please catch the note at the bottom before getting twitchy based on this article:

UPDATE: The above news story is a parody. Hopefully you noticed. However, the underlying absurdity of the situation is, unfortunately, very real, and going on today right under our noses. The humorous anecdote is meant to illustrate a point; that the activities of the DOJ and various federal agencies in regards to alternatives commerce of late have been growing more vicious and more irrational as the disintegration of the mainstream economic system nears. Stagflation is striking all sectors, corporate retailers like Walmart are no longer able to absorb wholesale price increases of goods and are now charging much more at the shelf, energy prices are going through the roof, and housing and wages continue to decline. Centralized economic structures like our own always struggle to stay relevant to the people in the face of financial implosion, at least until they can be replaced with yet ANOTHER centralized financial system. Power over the economy and power over currency are the greatest mechanisms of control in existence, at least, beyond the barrel of a gun, and even more so in some cases. The establishment will stop at nothing to maintain their grip on this mechanism. This includes criminalizing even the most logical and moral behaviors...

One wonders if the war on private money is not about the use of "dollar" or "cents" in private currency coins or tokens but rather the use of anything besides legal tender to conduct commerce which means the use of gold and silver to barter at some point in the future.....even if said coins do not have reference to "dollars" on them (except for gold and silver eagles but their face value is 2.5-3.5% of their market value. Funny, I dont recall the federal government cracking down on the use of private "tokens" in the past.....they were frequently issued by bars and brothels in the 19th century.

this has to be a joke, please tell me it's a joke???

heck, next should be the gambling casinos with their poker chips!!!

maybe it's just a new fangled way to create jobs...if things are still like they were when I was a kid, tokens were handed out sometimes to feed machines in like game rooms in the malls and such....
and well, those machines wouldn't take real money, so I guess they'd have to convert all those machines to accept money???

it's a joke, right????
I mean, those terrorist kids with their fake money are gonna destroy the world as we know it....huh?????

you really should be aware, and make the readers of your thread aware, that this is a parody.

You really think they arrested Chuck?

but seriously...come on now...

Awesome article.

They have as much reason to go after Chuvk E Cheese as they did NotHaus.

The government has always been notoriously inconsistent when it comes to the application of their made up and arbitrary fantasy law. Of course helps when they get to confiscate 7 tons of gold and silver.

They can make up all the excuses they need to take anything they want then they use what they took to find their own defense and the assault, demonization and imprisonment of who they took it from.

It's such a great system. We should all be very proud.

This is the best part,

Alleged terrorists apprehended on the scene included Chuck E. Cheese himself, as well as partners in crime Jasper T. Jowls and Mr. Munch. Mr. Munch was shot and killed by the FBI while attempting to “gnaw an agent’s leg”. The West Des Moines Junior Girls Softball Squad (Go Bulldogs!), were also caught red handed in the act of exchanging illegal Chuck E. Cheese tokens for turns at the “Whack-A-Mole.”

Its about time the government cracked down on this terrorist operation, decades and they always let it go, finally they caught the rat... nice

Seriously though, what do you think goes through the FBI agents when they justify to themselves going after chuck e cheese. I would assume one has had to have gone there before or has kids. Do they ever realize how retarded their job is, that all they do is follow orders of retards.

Yeah, if this is a parody, it really needs to be moved out of the BAN forum and moved to the Jokes, Puns forum. There are way too many people who would think this is real and not read the part about it being a joke.

how can they justify barging in to a Chuckee Cheese where kids go to play? Its a made up coin that only works in their games. its not like you can take them and buy gas or something with them...i have a bucke of these coins in my house from times of going there. What, are they going to start busting everyoes door down that posses them. What a f#%king joke the FBI is when this what theyre wasting their time on

Tuddlemeyer: “If you really cared at all about the safety of the dollar and our financial system, then you would use the power of the DOJ to help investigate the global banks and the Federal Reserve. They are destroying the stability of our currency daily and right out in the open! Its apparent that you have no interest in protecting the American people, only keeping us unshielded and weak as corporate elites bleed us dry, making us sufficiently desperate before they introduce the SDR as the new world reserve currency to replace the dollar, and position the IMF as the ultimate global arbiter of all economic activity around the world.”

7 year olds do not speak in this manner.

Anyone with half of a brain, reading the entire article, should be able to see this is SATIRE. Satire at it's finest. Jonathan Swift would be proud. Excellent Article, although it probably should have been posted in Jokes.
