I don't see why everyone in the country wants to stir the pot in Wisconsin, telling workers to fight back. Scott Walker was legally elected to represent and work for the citizens of Wisconsin. He represents the best interests of the people. If he says there is a problem that needs fixing, it is his job to fix it, which is what he did. Tubbo in Chief, Michael Moore has no business sticking his fat nose in the matter, neither does anyone else in other municipalities. Realistically, if we want a more competent and responsible government everywhere, public unions need to be reeled in, if not eliminated. Taxpayers should have a reasonable expectation that their government is doing everything in their power to keep taxes low and money is not squandered.

I don't ever see quotes from FDR (godfather of liberals everywhere) in the Union rights talking points, here is one. "The process of collective bargaining, as usually understood, cannot be transplanted into the public service. Yes, public workers may demand fair treatment but, I want to emphasize my conviction that militant tactics have no place in the public sector. A strike of public employees manifests nothing less than an intent on their part to prevent or obstruct the operations of Government." FDR to the National Federation of Federal Employees

I was quite dishearted to see the Local union I belong to (private union, not public) wasting money by sending buses to Madison. We currently have roughly one-third of our members unemployed, myself included. While they are wasting resources on other matters they do absolutely nothing to try to get its members back to work. Ironically the motto they utter whenever they need it, is "Get our members back to work!".

Fight back for what? So union workers can continue on their greedy path? Teachers getting plastic surgery on our dime, union workers pushing one button on an elevator at $80 an hour plus bennies. Well, EXCUSE ME, I have had enough of their nonsense.

Id just like to add that the whole notion of 'public sector unions' is fallicious on its face, as unions were originally intended to combat teh ebil kapitalists, using government as some sort of fair arbitor in the matter. The very fact that unions have formed against the government implicitly admits that government is *not* and *cannot* be a fair arbitor. If it could, public sector unions would be unnecessary.

Both the state and the unions are parasites that feed upon and grow fat off the productive members of society. And they use violence to achive this end. I see no distinction between the looters at the union hall and the looters on capital hill.

Unions are doing nothing more than what the government is doing and that's padding their pockets at the expense of the working population. They cause the riots and then, wait we have a solution here.

I mean come on what the factories did to workers was nothing more than criminal and they should have been arrested and put on trial.

There should be no public unions!! Think about it all the taxpayers are paying the unions as well as the salaries for the workers.

Let's simplify this. Down with "The Federal Reserve", and if need be "UNITED STATES". They are an illegal corporation that we are forced to pay taxes to by a bill signed by an illegitimate government. HMMMM!! How can someone pay a debt with another debt (US Dollar) that was a contract signed by another man without full disclosure to myself or 98% of American society.

I live in New York a state in "United States of America"

Hi all I'm new to this forum. You all have some intersting ideas but I have to wonder if this individual who wrote this post is truly worried about people getting their tax dollars then why didn't you mention the wall streeters who not only got your money but also gave themselvse big bonuses to boot.. And then too why not look to Exxon mobil who is the most profitable corporation in the history of the world and yet did not pay one dime in taxes last year and plus got a return of $156,000,000.00. And now lets look at General Electric who also didn't pay a dime in taxes. And then Bank of America, another one who didn't pay any taxes and isn't Bank of America a misreprestation since their corporate head quarters are in the United Arab Emerates. I thought I would mention a few just as food for thought. Because I thought it odd that we should worry so much about people getting $300.00 or $400.00 per month in welfare when we got BANKSTERS who pay as little as 15% on their taxes. I.m a working man always have been my whole life. Never received unemployment or welfare. But let me tel you, the direction that I see this country moving towards makes me affraid for our future. When I say our I'm talking about blue collar America. If you noticed America is capitalized and in this patriots mind it is not capitalized because it's a mere noun.I love America too and I gave four years of my life to prove it but I see us fastly becoming not the land of the free unless you happen to be corporatist. We shouldn't be squabling with those poor folks who live on the lower end of our economic boundaries. We should start looking at what might really be ailing our beloved land. Who is creating and then driving the issues whic seek to divides.Wasn't it a patriot who said united we stand, divided we fall. Are we not a divided country? How did that happen? We are all Americans are we not? Then who or what is dividing us. What massive force could possibly do that to three million people who all claim to love the same thing,America. What is so important to being a lefty or a right that we all loose our liberty in the process.Theodore Roosevelt A republican said every man deserves a moral wage. A moral wage he defined as one in which you do not have to steal to feed your family. Who in America could feed their family for the wages they pay folks in China. You don't think we are heading there? Where do you think we are being move? There has only been two periods in American history that we actually had a middle class and all the rest of our history we had robber barons with no protections for the workers. What does a wall street hedge fund manager produce for America? Put what he makes on your plate and have it for diner tomorrow? Yet my fellow workers of America why are you not worried about what he is extracting from our national treasury? We need a United America again. Lets not let the Charles and David Koch's of the world steal what little liberty that we have left.We all met here at this forum, why? Because we all care.Because we all care, can we not together build a better America and take it back from those who are dividing us. They have taken our great love for opur home and used it to turn us each against one another. They can only win if we can not see that this is the truth. Yes we all have different points of view and that is good because no one person has all the answers. But if we can put aside our partisan views and try to focus on why all of us who love America are so divided and if we can honestly answer that question then just perhaps the real enemy might come into focus.

You obviously have no clue whatsoever if you believe they're making anywhere near $80/hr. Not surprised though, most of the people against unions have no real clue about it and just repeat false statements like you...

Unions eat children with ketchup
What is going to happen when there is no more jobs because the unionists take all of your money?
Once the unions are gone, then corporations will have more power and money to pay you more money!
I am so excited myself about it myself, we will be FREE! I am secretly most excited when corporations buy all
the fresh water rights in America, imagine how good that water will be and cheap too. I can't wait, freedom is on the march!

"The economic anarchy of capitalist society as it exists today is, in my opinion, the real source of the evil.....

No the FABIAN SOCIALIST BANKERS ARE!

First the bankers are SOCIALISTS not CAPITALISTS!

This is the first and biggest lie told by the banksters and their ignorant dupes the progressives.

"Bankers and mega-corporations are captialists!"

Bankers HATE capitalism because it is their direct competitor!

Rothschilds & Rockefellers - Trillionaires Of The World
Learn your history before it repeats on you.

In the last century, members of the British Fabian Society dynastic banking families in the City of London financed the Communist takeover of Russia. Trotsky in his biography refers to some of the loans from these British financiers going back as far as 1907. By 1917 the major subsidies and funding for the Bolshevik Revolution were co-ordinated and arranged by Sir George Buchanan and Lord Alfred Milner. [no doubt using money from Cecil Rhodes' South African gold and diamond legacy - Ed]

The Communist system in Russia was a “British experiment” designed ultimately to become the Fabian Socialist model for the British takeover of the World through the UN and EU. The British plan to takeover the World and bring in a “New World Order” began with the teachings of John Ruskin and Cecil Rhodes at Oxford University.

Rhodes in one of his wills in 1877 left his vast fortune to Lord Nathan Rothschild as trustee to set up the Rhodes Scholarship Program at Oxford to indoctrinate promising young graduates for the purpose, and also establish a secret society [Royal Institute of International Affairs RIIA, which branched into the Round Table, the Bilderbergers, the CFR, the Trilateral, etc -- Ed] for leading business and banking leaders around the World who would work for the City to bring in their Socialist World government... centurean2.wordpress.com... ies-in-the-city-of-london/

SECOND US captialism has been DEAD for a hundred years!

Capitalism is an individual reinvesting his WEALTH (labor plus resources) in creating more WEALTH.

The bankers killed capitalism with fractional reserve banking. Counterfeit fiat money printed out of thin air will ALWAYS drive out "money" based on real wealth. This is because the fiat money can be lend at a much lower interest rate.

Actually it was not even FRACTIONAL RESERVE it was ZERO RESERVE!!!
Again from Web of Debt website by Ellen Brown.

...evidence. First National Bank of Montgomery vs. Daly (1969)

...Mr. Morgan, the bank's president, took the stand. To everyone's surprise, Morgan admitted that the bank routinely created money "out of thin air" for its loans, and that this was standard banking practice. "It sounds like fraud to me," intoned Presiding Justice Martin Mahoney amid nods from the jurors... www.webofdebt.com...

This use of this FRAUDULENT practice has allowed the bankers to confiscate whole industries!

Rockefeller Foundation....

History of pharmaceutical interests

...The Rockefeller family sponsored research and donated sums to universities and medical schools which had drug based research. They further extended this policy to foreign universities and medical schools where research was drug based through their "International Education Board". Establishments and research which were were not drug based were refused funding and soon dissolved in favor of the lucrative pharmaceutical industry.

In 1939 a "Drug Trust" alliance was formed by the Rockefeller empire and the German chemical company IG Farben (Bayer). [Can you say HITLER???] After World War Two, IG Farben was dismantled but later emerged as separate corporations within the alliance. Well known companies included General Mills, Kellogg, Nestle, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Procter and Gamble, Roche and Hoechst (Sanofi-Aventis).

The Rockefeller empire, in tandem with Chase Manhattan Bank (now JP Morgan Chase), owns over half of the pharmaceutical interests in the United States. It is the largest drug manufacturing combine in the world. Since WWII, the pharmaceutical industry has steadily netted increasing profits to become the world's second largest manufacturing industry; [3], [4] after the arms industry....

History of agribusiness interests

American Farm Bureau

The myth that American Farm Bureau (AFBF) represents the interests of farmers is longstanding, www.sourcewatch.org...

And those industries and the Bankster purse strings control whole countries. One name for it is Neo-Corporatism. It is a type of collectivism, just like Socialism, Communism, Marxism since it shares the same underlying premises:

1. Rights are derived from the state
2. The group is more important than the individual
3. Coercion is the preferred method to bring about reform
4. Laws should be applied differently to different classes
5. Providing benefits (redistributing wealth) is the proper role of government

All you have to do is look at the US government to see that is exactly the type of government we actually have.

Redistributing wealth is of course moving it from the pockets of the slaves to the pockets of their masters in the guise of "humanitarian aid" SEE: 2004 - Year of the Slave

Here is the Icing on the Cake:

The Fabian Society/London School of Economics and other connections.

Sidney Webb and his wife Beatrice are linked to Progressivism, the British Labour Party and "Linked inextricably with the emerging Fabian Society, founders of the London School of Economics in 1894"

...In 1895, Sidney Webb founded the London School of Economics, which became a branch of the University of London. Among its major contributors: the Rockefeller Foundation, the Carnegie United Kingdom Trust, and Mrs. Ernest Elmhirst, the widow of J. P. Morgan partner Willard Straight, who founded the socialist magazine New Republic.

In 1905, American Fabians established the Rand School of [Social Science] in New York City.

One of its founding members was John Dewey, the father of progressive education, whose philosophy consisted of "atheism, socialism and evolution."

John Dewey, the father of humanism, wrote in Individualism, Old and New (1929):

"We are in for some kind of socialism, call it by whatever name we please, and no matter what it will be called when it is realized....There is still enough vitality in the older individualism to offer a very serious handicap to any party or program which calls itself by the name Socialism....The older individualism is still sufficiently ingrained to obtain allegiance in confused sentiment and in vocal utterance."

It was clear to Mr. Dewey that if socialism was to come about, it would have to bear a different title... www.sodahead.com...

Dear dishearten,i
Read FDR's quote with a little more discernment He wasn't against collective bargaining,he was against strikes against the federal government. In many municipalities there are anti strike clauses within the laws which goverrn contracts between public sector unions and the government. I don't know if that is the case in Wisconsin but the Taylor Law in New York City and it's boroughs are a good example of what I am speaking. If the union does strike the union and it's members gets fined heavily once they return to work. Workers usually loose two days pay for every one they are out. This does not impede their right for collective bargaining however,.which by the way is not only about pay issues,it very often goes to working conditions and safety concerns. There is no way Roosevelt would have been against that. You may recall that his appointee to the department of labor was a women who witnessed the Triangle Shirtwaiste factory fire which took 146 lives due to unsafe and poor working conditions. This tradgedy brought abought the creation of the American Society of Safety Engineers. So Roosevelt wasn't against workers right to bargain for better working conditions and or pay increases,he was against strikes at the federal level. I personally can see his point. Look what happened in the late 1990s when the republicans shut down washington. Not a pretty sight for the country and not very patriotic at all. Yet the government enters into contracts with all kinds of unions on behalf of us the tax payers.I ask you what is a cartel. My guess is a union would be defined as a groupd of individuals or groups of groups of individuals which bind themselves together via contracts written or otherwise for the purpose of entering into a substantial bargaining block in order to effect better results for themselves. What is Exxon/Mobil? What is the U.S. Chamber of Commerse? Don't kid yourselves the government enters into contracts all the time with unions, you just don't recognise those unions as unions.

Don't Fret my friend,
I don't know of any teacher who has gotten Plastic Surgury on your dime or on my dime for that matter.Teachers put in in forty hours a week in class room and then many more hours a week correctin papers and planning lessons. In addition to that they often continue their education for advancements and cirtifications. Given all that I've just mentioned I think they earn their saleries. So if any teacher does get plastic surgury, it's on their dime not yours or mine.
