I am Sophia and I live in Colorado. I have been addicted to this webite since I found it and I am now ready to join in the conversations. I am new to this type of website and I have an important video link that I would like to add to a discussion. Where do I learn how to do this?

Hi Sophia, you need at least 20 posts before you can begin a thread. Easy way to get that is to join in any conversation, topic etc and you will see passed that no probs.

Enjoy your stay. This place is great. Gonna miss it over the next 7 weeks. Lent and that!

As far as your video goes you can bet a senior member will come across your Intro and give you a hand finding the right topic as well as the procedure for uploading your video.

I'm not the mod that will pop all the pertinent links in place but I can tell you that posting links is easy.

when you hit reply in the thread, a box comes up , where you type your response. In that box, you can simply paste the link or, if you want to be crafty, you can click the button located above the text box marked LINK.

a new box pops up, asking what you want to call the link, you can call it what you want. so, you type in the name and then you hit enter and the box readjusts and asks for the link. you copy the link into the box and hit enter again and the link is now placed in the text box, formatted to show the name you chose, in the form of a clickable link.

For now you can reply to any thread in any member forum you wish, as well as send & receive (PM's)Private Messages to Staff only. Once you have achieved 20 posts, you will then be able to start your own threads and additionally send & receive messages to and from fellow ATS members.
