I looked at it very closely - it is a bird ramming around like crazy from 2:04. It actually never gets behind the train - it goes towards it and then kind of bounces back. I think it is just playing.

The best evidence that it is a bird, can be found at 2:09-2:10 - you can clearly see the slower motions of wings.

Itsa bird.: Its body is moving; the wings are moving video frames arechanging All that movement interacts to present video you are watching..video shutter speed introduces its own character to the blur.
A single video frame captures the flying bird if the shutter speed is slow enough the birds wings will flap once during the frame ( wing blur one)?shutter is still open( chipis still writing) the bird is propelled forward a couple of inches( body blur i.e.the "rod") .the wings flap again(blur two) the original wing flap is still captured on that frame. The camera starts a new frame
The whole process starts over wing; flap blur; body jets forward( bodyblur) wingflap two next frame. amoving object requires a different shutter speed to freeze action depending on whether the object moves toward,or away or left to right.in front of thecamera. So as it changes location and directionintheframe position in the frame looks slightly different depending on where it is caught,.
