And it is about time Politicians in the UK grew some, and finally said NO to the US. The UK is no longer, and never was a Superpower. We in the UK need to recognise that.

Yes, note the "had" in your sentence there.

He's quite right, we're not a superpower.

The term was coined by the American political scientist William Fox in around 1944 or 1945.

The basic definition of which is for a country to be able to act unilaterally. From a military point of view right about now, I don't think that's possible for us to do.

Hence our joining with France.

You know things are bad when Im actually thinking how much better off we'd be with The Donald as our president.

A few years ago, I would have laughed at the notion, but he announced hes going to run in 2012 under this premise:

Anyway, France is currently run by a man very similar to Obama, so in his eyes he is a good ally. They're both ultra bureaucratic federalists.
