Now this is intresting. Since the wikileaks issue, we have seen an increase of Government complains about protecting information, going from the normal to the obscene in the manners they are suggesting.

The UK announced they are going to be taking on internet regulation because porn apparently is a bad thing, while any religion that kills people should be protected and allowed to speak their mind and obtain special status to use thier religious laws, intead of.... I digress

The US FCC just announced a vote on the net neutrality, which apparenlty passed (instead of using congress, the FCC used their statatory authority they have to push this mess).

Austrailia has already had this type of software in place, China and other communist countries restrict their use.

Julian Assange - A willing idiot, or a idiotic pawn whose ego keeps him in the spotlight?

Everytime Assange tweats or says anything, its breaking news, which seems to drowned out other issues the Government is dealing with, like net neutrality. The UK is pushing their net censorship while at the same time studens are rioting about having to pay more for school.

I dunno.. It makesa as much sense as allowing 4 hijacked aircraft to fly for 40+ minutes without intercept. The US Government is now doing the same thing with all of these leaks of military info and diplomatic cables.

What did the supporters do at the start? They launched attacks on free enterprise, citing the Government forced them to cut support to Assange without really investigating, but just assuming.

I am less concerned about the opinions on these business, and more concerned with what line we just crossed. People who are "demanding free flow of information" used the internet to launch an economic attack on international business.

Anyone want to guess how this incident can be portrayed? International business makes appeals to Governments to curb, restrict, monitor, etc internet usage now. The Assange supporters just gave, to borrow a term, TPTB a reason - economic security, to clamp down in that realm.

I still think Assange is a naive ass with a meglomania complex, however I just think there is something else going on with all of this. Instead of people who support Assange screaming for investigations into the Governments actions, or speaking out about net neutrality or the UK net laws, they are fixed on everything Assange all the time. Instead of screaming about the 9 things going on around them, they scream about the one issue that focuses their energy - Free Assange / Protect Assange etc.

I'm starting to think Assange is the shiny object being dangled in front of us....

He's a dupe. The cables were fed to him. It's an enjoyable ride, but such a useful tool. I don't think much of the NWO theories but I know that the powers that be want more power and he was enabling an excuse when he started compiling his leaks.

The assasinations are said to have happened in kenya, almost two years ago or more.. It seems as yet another bleak for wikileaks to stir up attention...Maybe these *wikileaks martyrs* were far from drug addicts maybe someone that had a gambling debt.

Just because they were killed does not mean it had anything to do with wikileaks.. If that was so, if Assange was not being used by TPTB Assange would of been off'ed a long time ago.

All you do is put *wikileaks* in front of journalist, find two people who were journalist that got killed in Kenya (out of the thousands of people killed a year) Now you have a wikileaks journalist assassinated tabloid like story.

You are falling into the trap of singling out Assange while forgetting about the mission of WL!

I could care less about the man's personal life because it has NOTHING to do with WL!!!!

Do care to tell us how Julian's love life,his fathering skills (or lack thereof) and his mental health relate to his current mission with WL. You could dwell on the same crap about a president but that wouldn't change the president's performance or mission.

Once again, tell me what this has to do with WL because I'm not seeing the connection.

Assange seems to like making TPTB look pretty stupid.

If he really did have some metal in his prison food and broke a tooth on it, then he could easily put in a claim for compensation. He would win, the catering company wouldn't even contest it. There is a phrase in the is country "where there's blame there's a claim", everyone's after compensation to pay off their credit card arrears.

If he doesn't need the money he could give it to charity.

If some machine in the kitchen is dropping metal into the prisoners food, then the authorities are going to want to get that machine taken out of service.

Prisoners have far more rights and have a much easier time in UK prisons, prisoners have successfully sued over overcrowded cells, faulty TV sets and all manner of trivial things.

Or else they want the tooth so they can track down hs father via dna and discredit his lineage

its prison food, he's lucky he didn't bite into a finger or a cockroach.

Or at least it's DNA has (could he have refused to give DNA when arrested in the UK?) Or perhaps, if guilty, he wants plausible reason for how tptb could have obtained DNA to plant as evidence... It's all getting a little daft!

You are naive to estimate our Government is efficient at anything. It's bungled assassination attempts before.

They've bungled surveillance before as well. Many times...Globally. Sometimes the way's they've bungled the operation has been so funny and laughable...even the other side falls down laughing at how inept our attempts are.
