so I have a question, i'm flying to florida on Friday and I was wondering if they do a pat down on every single person? Or do they just do it to some?

Here is how it works...

If you turn down the full body scanner (the one that takes a creepy greenish naked picture of you in all your glory for people to fap to) then you are subjected to the date-rape special. The TSA (Team Sexual Assault) will fell you up, feel you down and honk the horn for good measure (if like me, you took a viagra first to be funny and to get them confused!)

Now, how long till a violent confrontation happens at a checkpoint due to a father or a husband objecting to witnessing the molestation of his wife or daughter? I would honestly hold the TSA agent while he hit them!

Should a TSA agent ever touch my daughter inappropriately in my presence, it will most certainly make the news.

I don't foresee that happening since both she and I will be Opt-outs and will then have to go through the legal process to recoup the cost of the tickets.

Rest assured that any man touching my daughter will not be the same after doing so regardless of the personal loss to me.

When I recently went overseas we travelled from Australia. We had our bags screened in that x-ray machine and then stepped through the metal detector. Then they pull every second or so person aside and subject you to a pat down anyway. Quite confronting as you barely get any warning other than, "stand with you arms out and your legs apart'. You think they're just going to do a quick pat down but they are quite thorough and it was rather embarassing.

Ooops! I forgot to comment on the OP.

Good on that guy for sticking to his guns and refusing the "pat down". Even better that he didn't lose his cool and even managed to get a refund on his ticket. I really enjoyed reading the posts about it on his blog, everyone should go back and read them if they haven't!

I say, if they touch your private parts in a way that you don't want, throw a punch. Throw a punch but also yell "rape" as loud as you can, to back things up for yourself. When the supervisor comes over (and they will) explain that the person searching you grabbed you in a way that CLEARLY wasn't searching.

If they touch your wife or daughter, throw that punch... but also clearly and loudly verbalize why you are doing it.

Doing these things will create a large group of witnesses not only to back up your story, but to assure they don't do anything bad to you for protecting yourself or your loved ones from sexual assault.

Well, theY felt up my entire family but there was no-one under 18 so I guess atleast they were safe from being charged with kiddie molestation. Similarly, on the way back we were also subjected to another similar pat down, although it was in a non-native-English-speaking country so even if we'd gotten a warning it'd have been difficult to know.

Haha, well, I haven't got any kids yet but if they were touched inappropriately during a pat down I wouldn't hesitate to make it known. My partner would certainly have something to say about it (I'm a female so probably a bit less likely to throw a punch)

I had a female do my pat down for my viagra prank in Denver. She was quite busy in that area until she realized what it was she kept grabbing and feeling, lol.

Great Success!!!

I had a darned good time with the whole thing. I thought it was funny as heck!

I am thinking about pulling that stunt again and having a buddy video the whole thing. If I pull it off again (no pun intended) I will be posting it here on ATS for a good laugh!

This whole TSA thing has gone too far... being told that you gave up your rights when you bought the ticket?!?!? What is THAT all about? I seem to remember there being some rights that just aren't given up here in America... hmmm... where did I read that again?

It'd be funny as heck if you did it, but just be prepared for backlash by those who see it as deliberately provoking and/or sexual abuse to the woman who uhh... inspects you

Darn it, good point. I still don't know how the law would view it... consider the following question:

How can I be sexually abusing a woman (or man) who intentionally grabs my penis because I simply want to fly to Disney World?

If we all started doing this to the TSA, they would be rendered useless(er).

What I find most troubling is how this man was threatened with civil legal action for trying to leave the airport after being told to do so.

Exactly, not only was he refused service, but they're threatening legal action?

This is exactly why bureaucrats shouldn't be allowed to pass laws. We have a Supreme Court and we need to use it when when any law is introduced. I would LOVE to see the statue that gives these guys the right to to charge him with an offense? He went in, refused the search in a civil manner, and left. I might have took look this up for myself. On a side note, that bulldog dike had the nerve to tell him he gave up his rights to not be molested when he bought the ticket.

This is absolutely insane. So, in order to fly nowdays you have to submit to patdown like a common criminal. What's next, drop your pants and spread your cheeks?

This is ridiculous. Where does it end? When are we finally gonna be safe enough from the terrorists? Should we just go ahead and arrive naked to the airports? Fly naked? That might be kind of fun. " Fly Buff Airlines Today. Be assured that no one has explosive undies on!" Don't make me feel any safer with these new "security measures".

Next will be a home made device..of course made from a camera and intended to used in the screening area itself..of course this will be thwarted and the would be assassin placed in custody(he will be brown skinned of course)..or a few may have to be harmed to make it look good...then... viola...illegal to have camera's in the airport at all..issue resolved..no one can film the humility and violation of human rights. WE ARE ONCE AGAIN SAFE FROM THE TERRORIST.

I have to admit that part of me wants to fly this holiday season for the purpose of being a pain in the ass. I just picture myself opting out of a scanner and being patted down. I can picture someone grabbing "my junk" and then I just punch him in the mouth. I then can picture my arrest and my court date where I explain to the judge that I consented to a pat down but not to sexual assault. I would explain how I have been arrested before and I know the difference between being patted down and being assaulted. How I felt that the TSA agent crossed the line and put me in a position to defend myself, which is proved by the fact that I only hit him one time.
ahhhh I can dream

ATTENTION
No more name calling, no more cursing, circumvention of censors, or racial epithets, no more acting like children.
Anymore instances of this and I'll be quite liberal with my removal tools.

Sorry I was just kind of thinking out loud. No disrespect intended on my part.

I do not think the video is a fake. It was recorded on a cell phone, if someone has a cell phone on record and hanging from their belt, how would you even know it?

So... if you were raped as a child...and now had a knee jerk reaction to go defensive (think flashback like our vets get)... how would that play out legally. I think one legal case like that and they would find the resemblance of sexual assault AND the needless endangerment of the TSA staff.

OR... it could go the other way... where they will physically restrain you before hand or take away the opt out.

This society we live in makes me sad. And no... I don't feel any safer
