Oh yeah, I suppose we need the direction too. Speed would be nice, though if we get the highway I can get the speed limit (which could be used as an estimate)

I don't think its the one you highlighted. The one above it talking about an accident with CHP oms. Looks like a California Highway Patrol Officer on his motorcycle was hit by a car, and suffered traumatic injuries.

Having an officer down call go out will create a parade of emergency service units. It will also get multiple jurisdictions who are remotely close to the scene responding. If anyone is irritated by this I will point out that just because it was called in as an accident involving an officer, it could easily be something completely different.

I have been watching you all through this thread mentioning or trying to help... Maybe your best bet would be just to go outside and set that tripod up and see what you might catch. Doesn't seem like anyone is looking up at the moment... lol just a thought since you just live where the action seems to be.

I apologize, I wasn't saying that as an insult. I just meant that if an officer was down, your right that more units would be dispatched.

The punishment is more severe if there has been an attack on a post office employee, teacher, fireman, or LEO. That was all I was trying to say.

Why am I getting the feeling this thread is having a momentum of its own.

So far we have

1.An event on 10-10-10 (very suspicious)
2.Poorly filmed videos of lights (supposedly from different location)
3.Sounds of a helicopter which may or may not be contacted
3.Excited kids running around swearing
4.What looks like a normal convoy escort
5.Lots of unverifiable reported sighting from????
6.Offers to go and investigate area ignored
7.No mainstream news reports.

No doubt we will get more of the above and before we know it the prediction of Oct-13-2010 mass sighting will actually now be Oct-10-2010.

My apologies - I took the comment the wrong way. I've been involved in a few debates in these forums about Law Enforcement and the finer points of it. Guess I was a bit quick to judge and be defensive about it.

I am still shocked how "ignored" I was!

I mean I expected a slew of information, I know I am closer to the action but I am out of the loop for sure!

I still don't have a clue of any cross-streets or general locations. I have watched the video several times now, but California (Southern) is pretty much one big city. And all the corners look the same!

(Oh and nothing fancy happened on my smoke break.)
