Thanks for posting this eye opener.
Too often, media events are reported by bias journalists ... agents of the corrupt.
But, keep in mind ... until there is a real solution to the crisis in the middle east, where everyone is served justly our media will support the interests of a few. The young American girl who stood against Israeli tanks is a prime example of a media controlled by the corporate elite. With no oil, or other valuable assets, the Palestinians are doomed for destruction. Perhaps, there is a pool of talent that can circumnavigate the media by painting the attrocities and take their art on a world tour. Sounds lame but visual aid is impressive and thought provoking.

I have never nor will I ever be politically correct....it has a tendency to obscure the truth and the responsibility that lay within that truth.

The Jewish population must extract themselves from a Zionist movement by rejecting instead of supporting the State of Israel at any cost. Muslims must also take the needed action to shut down the religious and militant extremes of their own culture. Each of us has our own corner of the world to be responsible for. I hold the Jewish population responsible for what the Jewish State they support does in the world.

This thread title lumps a group of people into a single mind frame "Israel".

Rusethorcain, I can understand the sentiment given the misery so many religions have created in the world, but outlawing religion would hardly solve the problem.

In any case, Israel was NOT really created for religious reasons. Let me put it as succinctly as I can: certain powerful interests hijacked Zionism for their own purposes, more than a hundred years ago.

The seeds of Zionism started in Tsarist Russia. (Russia then had the largest Jewish population in the world.) Zionism was a response to EXTREME persecution under Tsars Alexander II & III. The conclusion was that the Jews would never be safe unless they had their own land. What could be more logical than returning to the land God gave them.

One teeny problem was that they had not controlled that land (Palestine area) in something like 1800 years. At the time Zionism started, Palestine was a British Protectorate.

As I said, Zionism was hijacked. Certain powerful interests had been involved in the oil industry in the Mid-East since the 1870's. These powerful interests saw Zionism as a golden opportunity to be closer to their investments -- to establish a permanent outpost.

Look at the Balfour Declaration of 1917. Why would the British care about supporting the Zionist movement?
The British had run up a huge national debt in over three years of fighting WWI. Could it have anything to do with the fact that these certain powerful interests (that had co-opted Zionism in the 1890's) also owned some of the most powerful banks in the world?

The "certain powerful interests" are aristocratic Ashkenazim Elites. This has nothing to do with the rank & file Jews. In fact, masses of ordinary Jews were sacrificed to serve the interests of the Elite. (Yes, I believe the Holocaust was real).

I have real doubts that these Elites even believe in God. They worship Money & Power.

Do the rank & file Jews even understand what's really going on? I doubt it. They buy the Official Lie, as the majority of Americans do.

I started searching this morning for similar conversations in other forums and I am convinced that the world is awakening to the the truth of our conditioned slave status. For me the simple knowledge that the Federal Reserve is owned and operated by Jews was enough.

I think that the problem I had in speaking my mind about the Jewish control of the West in the past was that bias label that would be thrown at me lumping me into the the likes of the KKK (attempted on this thread)

My greatest issue now is with the Jewish war drums beating a path to Iran. Israel has had WMD since 1968 and has never signed the NPT...and to this date has never disclosed to the world the nasty little weapons they are sitting on. Israel has never been called out on their human rights violations either and given the track record of the West turning a blind eye American troops will be scarified for the Jewish prize of taking down Iran as they were in Iraq.

Witness2008, It's important not to confuse a small group of powerful Elites (who happen to have Jewish ancestry) with the majority of Jews. But I understand the dangers of speaking openly of how powerful the Jews are.

Remember some years ago when film legend Marlon Brando was forced to apologize in public for making some innocuous statement like, "The Jews control Hollywood" -- a statement that almost everyone knows is TRUE. It's been true since the beginning of Hollywood as the movie capital of the US. But you can't say that out loud without being smeared as an Anti-Semite.

Even comedienne Kathy Griffin joked about "Even I know enough not to mess with the Jews." This was in reference to the Mel Gibson's drunken anti-Semitic rant.

You bring up a very real nightmare: what are we going to do about Iran?!

I could have screamed when Bush announced war with Iraq (it's not because I care about Iraq -- it's because I could foresee [as any thinking person could] the cost in blood & treasure for the US -- years & years of war). And Ahmadinejad is far more dangerous than Saddam Hussein was.

It's interesting how after the Iraq War was "won" (2003) that Israel announced its interest in re-opening the Mosul-Haifa pipeline. What a coincidence!

The Iran situation is far more dangerous.

I'm surprised that anyone here is surprised by the OP. Thank you for asking, but no, it was taken from my uncle while in WW2 in the pacific flew off of carriers and later flew at night during November Foxtrot (Night Flight) sorties (his call sign was Redeye). Its also from the early USA network TV show that aired almost nightly named Night Flight. An alternative to Carson, etc.

I believe the Israelis could easily live in peace with their neighbors if they so desired. These people, the Israelis, are not stupid by a long shot, they are very smart, but seemingly very militant. I think they lack common sense sometimes and end up doing the most stupid things and get caught with their "pants down". For instance, killing 9 unarmed people on a humanitarian mission to Palestine in international waters, which was highly condemned by the UN. Very little information about the attack was announced on the US MSM, and the info that was broadcast was very slanted.
BTW, I read somewhere the Israeli "art students" were at it again in Utah, asking residents there about a new NSA building. Why don't they give it up? I'll try to find that link. Found it: www.rawstory.com...

NightFlight, thanks for answering my question. Very interesting story, I'm sure you're very proud of your uncle -- that generation is almost completely gone now -- what a loss! FYI "Night Flight" is also the title of a very famous aviation story published in 1932. The book was so popular in France, Guerlain actually created a perfume in its honor ("Vol de Nuit") -- beautiful, but no longer made. Ian Fleming mentioned the perfume in one of his James Bond stories.

As for Israelis living in peace with their Arab neighbors... I think the militancy of the Israelis is a product of having to live with Arab terrorist attacks for over six decades. Israel is a beseiged fortress.

Don't mess with Isreal! They are GOD's chosen people! So what if they did 911 and control are media. They have good reason to be like this. They are surrounded by arabs on all sides who hate them. It's survival you know.

Star and flag, love. Wrong is wrong is wrong, be it done by prince or pauper, saint or sinner. My mother backed israel with all her heart because she was made to believe that it was the right thing to do. I, on the other hand, have learned to question everything. If a country pretends to be chosen by a god, don't they need to conduct themselves above reproach in order to be an example to all of those who are not chosen? Instead, I see a bunch of little ingrates who smear our noses in the hard work and blood spilled for them. They have become the spoiled brat that no one likes, and cries like a little girl when someone threatens to set them straight. I don't want to see israel wiped off the face of the map, nor do I hold any animosity towards the jews. I hold my scorn for those in power who have never had to face the hardships that their forefathers faced, or even their neighbors. Those in power could be jewish, muslim, christian, or whatever. if you want to find the root of all this manipulation, find the sources who are lobbying for Israel. What do they own? who do they work for? what are their intentions? etc. etc.

When and if you find it... (or anyone) expose them.

It does concern me, but I think it's been spoken out over and over and over. No need for me to point it out yet again. I second your posts, as most other posts in this thread. You have my flag and stars.

Everybody knows (or should know) about the Israeli propaganda machine by now. At least around here (EU), I realise it's different in the US, where government gives unconditional support to Israel and where joining their disinfo campaigns is national policy.
There are only two reasons why people wouldn't agree: being a victim of/misinformed by propaganda or being part of the propaganda machine themselves.

You just have to browse any Israel/Palestine threads here on ATS to see this mechanism at work.
I often wonder why people don't see right through it. Shallow tactics, yet effective.
