Will they help? No...

Why would they? It's not a world-ending problem. Have they stepped in for any other global disasters?

Seems ludicrous to consider that ET's would come and solve our problems.

There's more chance of aliens cleaning up our oceans than us....sigh...

Why would they help even if they were here?? This was caused by humans, humans should clean it up. It's insane to think that aliens would help us. If given the chance would we help them?? Nope, don't think so. Just my $.02 tho.

If you help the moth out of it's cocoon, it will never learn how to do it by it self.

We created the mess. They watch from beyond and only hope we will awaken to the oneness of all.

Of course, they won't help.

What would be their incentive to help?
What if they followed strict rules of non-involvement when observing alien species? (a la Star Trek)

Heck, what if the oil actually makes the planet more suitable for their needs?!

Please contribute to that ongoing discussion.
