Some of the anti-Islam rhetoric here is a bit much.

Dallas, you continually reiterated the fallacy that "Muslims continue to invade other countries" and that "The Qur'an says this and that", yet, here we are with the truth staring us in the face and you still say it.

They didn't invade us, we invaded them, over and over. You continue to cling to your bible as if it is truth, and turn around and say the Qur'an tells it's followers to kill people when your bible says the same things. Your bible says that men are dominant over women, etc.

Your slanderous intent is disturbing because it represents a very scary mind that is all too common. You continue to spew malice and judgment onto other people, when your own bible tells you not to do so; it tells you not to pass judgment. If you truly believed in God and righteousness then you would understand that God doesn't need a fool or bigot to protect his holy word and he doesn't need you to force unto others. You're spreading hate and evil, bigotry.

Oh.. and the funniest thing. People are soooo scared that Islam is going to infiltrate the US government, or actually lead an army to take us over by force.

I've already said that a take over by force is literally physically impossible, and everyone knows that. We have the strongest military in the US, the best weapons, arsenals, etc. Heck, our military is so good that we are even able to control the entire mid-east and most of Asia Minor on their home turf.

2009 CIA Fact book at www.factbook.net... states that the USA has 0.6% Muslims. that's only. 1,843,273 . There are over 200 million civilian owned handguns in the US alone. You do the math.

If you think a political takeover is a possiblity.. Again.. Muslims are not only the most hated group in America, but they only have a .6% population. That is laughable.

If you are really worried about a religious takeover by a group of people who has allegiances that fall outside of our own country, maybe you should be more worried about the Jews. Many of the Jews that hold positions in Washington are actually dual-citizens, and the Zionist lobbyists literally control most of Washington. These are facts, not paranoia. And truthfully I have no problem with Judaism, only with Zionism.

Maybe that's who you should be worried, because that threat is real.

Instead they want you to focus on a bearded boogieman so you don't see what's really happening.

Thank you for this. I started a thread on this subject a while back titled The Islam Conspiracy, it quickly devolved into a hate fest filled with bigots.

I hear a lot of these people say "Well if Islam is really a peaceful religion, why don't they speak out against Islamic violence?" The fact is they do, but bigots have their hands over their eyes.

Islam is a religion, just like any other religion. The fact is, it's people that are evil or good, not the religion itself. Do we blame all Christians because of the actions of Scott Roeder? Of course we don't, why? because it's not what Christianity is all about. We don't take groups like the Army of God as representative of all Christians. They are a minority in an otherwise much more peaceful whole.

You know what..I really understand the islam religion at the time when Saladin ruled. I really respected it..both the leaders and their proper behaviour..They even loved their women..But islam today-I cant say i got anything left for it. Its evil against women and simple minded. I picked out a few at random, checked the context with Yusuf Ali translation and every single one mentions fighting in SELF-DEFENCE!

Mainstream Muslims have a religion between themselves and God, and it is a love affair with their Creator who provides food, money, water, blessings, children, and love, amongst other things.

Sounds like most Americans. Respect of God, thanks to Him, and not a whole lot of Bible-reading. A lot of good still gets done, and people still call themselves Christians and are beloved of God for being kind, strong, merciful, altruistic, honest, grateful, etc. Just like mainstream Muslims, who are the vast majority of Muslims.

there are lots of places. look up "people of the book" in the koran.

you have already been found to be spreading disinfo, falsehood, hatred, lies.

the quotes were indeed out of context and you missed the next verses that stated the conditions of war: self-defence.

how much more humiliation do you need?

Also the Quran DOES say to respect Jews and Christians, but not to trust them. I will find you some verses to prove this.

A specific example is that Muslim men are allowed to marry both Christian and Jewish women. This is a fact, and mentioned in the Quran.

Show me what you got fella. And about the context thing. The sura is in context. Killing and maiming. And besides, the suras i posted were a complete statement. No one sura before or after would change what the sura said. Stop trying to worm your way out of this. Islam is a cult of War. Founded on war, called to war, and live for war and blood. 1500 years prove it.

Compare the history of Islam to the history of the Christians for an example of who's religion is pure. (and i don't mean catholic history...there as bad as the muslims...)

One thing that I don't think people fully understand about Islam is that, as a Muslim, you must believe that the Jews were God's chosen people, Moses was a true prophet, the Torah is true scripture, Jesus was a true prophet, and the Bible contains some true scripture.

Here's quotes from the Quran showing that Islam is not about killing the Jews and Christians.

Note the "people of the scripture" means Jews and Christians.

Well, if you hadn't quoted me out of context, you could have also noted that I compared it to soldiers raping, torturing and murdering Iraqi/Afghan citizens... but I guess you don't want to do that. In some cases, children were brutally raped and murdered, and this is only what has been reported.

That was kind of a disgusting thing for you to do, to be perfectly honest..

You're trying to slander an entire population without first passing judgment on yourself. You spread hate on others without first acknowledging the sins of your own nation, let alone try to atone for them.
