To push a little further though, if the above idea would work, why not, instead of finding your own metals, just buy metallic minerals, filter
whatever needs filtered, and then put them in water with electricity running through it? Metallic minerals probably have stuff you shouldn't
electrocute and then consume, but perhaps plants could absorb them easily enough.
