I'm tired of Bush getting blamed for this economic crisis. Bush did everything he could to keep this country safe. In order to get his foreign policies inacted he had to keep Democrats satisfied. Why do you think Bush hardly ever vetoed any spending bills? The Democrats took advantage of that because they knew Bush needed money for the war on terror.

Democrats: You want money for the War on Terror? Well it is going to cost you. And boy did it ever.....But this is Mr. Obama's economy now...and he is killing it!

BTW anyone else notice that when Democrats took over Congress in 2006 that we have been going downhill ever since?

Apparently some people reject liars, perhaps the polls are reflecting that?

Or is the reality setting in that President Obama's government spending plans (with earmarks) will seek to spend more money than all of the presidents before him combined?

A 'stimulus/recovery' spending plan that is all about growing government bigger and stronger than ever in a time when the people are suffering, and it is their taxes that will pay for his plans.

Yeah, perhaps the poll numbers are high... Then again give it a few weeks, perhaps by then the Obama administration will have control over all media outlets and all future polls published or broadcast will boast at or near 100% approval ratings.

Obama, you may have been our last and only hope.

I 'hope' your future legacy doesn't include the death of our country as we knew it in favor of your vision of a socialist/totalitarian system that will progressively strip away the freedom and liberty of all in the wake of a complete economic collapse which included the largest most wasteful government spending spree in the history of the world.

The real terrorists in our country? I have a different opinion on who that might be. I can't say because that would be political trolling. (Hey mods! I'm learning!)

The banks? They were just doing as they were told by the feds. "Yeah go ahead and make loans to people who can't afford them....we care about diversity you know."

RR I hear you, if you are as frustrated as I am I feel your pain.

If I was able to do what I really, really wanted to do I will be jailed in not time.

So unless the masses raise up and do something that I can join in the fight I just going to sit and sip my coffee while the nation keeps deteriorating and going down the hill.

Is not way that massive spending is going to fix anything, but the reality is that. . . that is what our government only knows how to do for quite something and is not way out right now.

So what would you suggest - that the working class take the country away from the rich since the working class is the only one that does any real work? This has been done in another country already. In Cuba, the working class longed for the riches of the rich people and thought that the rich did nothing but sat on the beach and lived off the sweat of the working class, so they did take the country away from the rich.

But guess what happened? Instead of the population being separated by an upper class and a working class, suddenly everyone was poor.

Is that what you want to happen with America?

My personal Obama rating is as high as it has ever been.
But that's only because my rating scale has no negative numbers.
Which makes no sense really, seeing as this new administration has no problem working with negative numbers, really really BIG negative numbers.

Has any president ever disseminated our tax dollars this quickly before?
In such unbelievable, incomprehensible amounts?

It appears that this "perfect storm' of Democrat domination, has resulted in some form of speedbilling. Passing agenda after agenda while they can.
At this rate, I doubt they can hold both houses for long, so they are packin' in the pork.

Hey I made my first 100k making only ten dollars an hour. You might say thats BS but its the truth. I work offshore and I made 10 dollars an hour from the minute I left my house till the minute I got home. I stayed away from my family for 9 months so tell me why I should pay more taxes than say You? I want to know? Do You actually think that just because someone makes more money their standard of living is better? I don't .... Oh btw I know plenty of carpenters and plumbers that make 6 figure incomes they just work 18 hours a day. You poor people try to get us to feel sorry for You but I have a hard time doing it. In my state anyone with a decent head on his shoulder can start out making 50k a year with no experience. The only thing that person needs to do is work a job that no one wants to do ... Oh btw that is how most middle class jobs are its jobs that poor people don't want to do.... Hell I could goto school as a diesel mechanic tomorrow and then go to work for someone for maybe 6 years then switch jobs making 150k a year ... So what the hell anyone can do it its just the poor have no vision and they always shoot themselves in the foot ..... Hell anyone of You people could get a job as a DPO operator with a 6 week class and make 300 dollars a day but once again We have to import Europeans to do the work because well there are no Americans that do it. So please don't give me that dribble because anyone that is poor here could easily drive a truck but no I can't do that I don't want to be away from home .... Yeah I hear it all the time.

Hell my brother used to think I was very opinionated until one day He started making money. He ditched his crap job as a security guard and started sales. Now He sells security systems that people don't have to pay for and He makes 500 a deal ... He is making a killing because of the economy and He loves his job. He runs into people all the time and offers them jobs but guess what they don't want to do it because its door to door sales ... Hell if You can't sell security systems to the middle class now You must seriously suck. He called me the other day and told me I was a 100% right and guess what I know I am right ... Oh btw if you don't have work in Your area You do like a lot of people do You move... I think its sad how people will turn down a perfectly good thing but then again I guess they have never had to starve like I did when I was young.

Try this math....
The Iraq War Will Cost Us $3 Trillion, and Much More
www.washingtonpost.com...
There is no such thing as a free lunch, and there is no such thing as a free war. The Iraq adventure has seriously weakened the U.S. economy, whose woes now go far beyond loose mortgage lending. You can't spend $3 trillion -- yes, $3 trillion -- on a failed war abroad and not feel the pain at home.

Some people will scoff at that number, but we've done the math. Senior Bush administration aides certainly pooh-poohed worrisome estimates in the run-up to the war. Former White House economic adviser Lawrence Lindsey reckoned that the conflict would cost $100 billion to $200 billion; Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld later called his estimate "baloney." Administration officials insisted that the costs would be more like $50 billion to $60 billion. In April 2003, Andrew S. Natsios, the thoughtful head of the U.S. Agency for International Development, said on "Nightline" that reconstructing Iraq would cost the American taxpayer just $1.7 billion. Ted Koppel, in disbelief, pressed Natsios on the question, but Natsios stuck to his guns. Others in the administration, such as Deputy Defense Secretary Paul D. Wolfowitz, hoped that U.S. partners would chip in, as they had in the 1991 Persian Gulf War, or that Iraq's oil would pay for the damages.

The end result of all this wishful thinking? As we approach the fifth anniversary of the invasion, Iraq is not only the second longest war in U.S. history (after Vietnam), it is also the second most costly -- surpassed only by World War II.

*I'd much rather be investing money at home.

Yes I know what a "real" republican is and you would have an easier time finding bigfoot right now.

By the way - Rush Limbuagh is a radio host who makes his living getting attention for sensationalism. His agenda includes fame, money and ratings...not public service. Rush is not a "real" republican...he is political shock jock in the vein of Howard Stern. The fact that the GOP is now looking to him for guidance says a great deal about how severely lost the party is.

Alas...what has become of the house that Abe Lincoln built?

I could have lived with either of them..

I still think this election was set up and rigged... I can't prove it, have no idea how, but the whole Obama beat Clinton and McCain from nowhere stunk to high heaven...

Semper

Exactly my thoughts, Clinton would have been the best bet all around. She had broad experience, and we'd had enuf of Republicans. To this day I still don't know what Obama's platform was other than "change" well he came thru on that didn't he.

How sad the MSM only paints a different picture from reality:

"Obama's rating at all-time high"

NBC/WSJ poll shows gap between popularity of president and his policies
By Mark Murray
Deputy political director
NBC News

(emphasis added only to point out what jerks MSM are)

WASHINGTON - Despite the country's struggling economy and vocal opposition to some of his policies, President Obama's favorability rating is at an all-time high. Two-thirds feel hopeful about his leadership and six in 10 approve of the job he's doing in the White House.

www.msnbc.msn.com...

Of course NBC and MSNBC only report facts. That explains this:
