The year 2008 saw a dramatic increase in the extent of HAMAS rocket fire and mortar attacks on Israel, with a total of 3,278 rockets and mortar shells landingin Israeli territory (1,750 rockets and 1,528 mortar shells). These numbers are double those of 2007 and 2006, years which marked a five-fold increase over prior years. There was also a significant increase in the number of Israeli residents exposed to rocket fire.
Musheir al-Masri, a Hamas spokesman in the Palestinian Legislative Council, said (Filastin al-‘An website, December 24) that the rockets which had been launched were only the first message and threatened to extend the attacks beyond what had been carried out so far. He guaranteed that Israel would “be hit in a way it had never been before,” and that he was not afraid of Israel threats. The population of the villages bordering on the Gaza Strip, as well as Sderot and Ashqelon, would not be secure “as long as Palestinians are not secure”.

crmanager is working on the basis that Hamas or the Palestinian people attack Israel for no good reasons. It is simply unprovoked acts of violance instigated by the likes of Hamas for some unknown dark and evil reasons as far as he is concerned.
The problem is that the world knows that the Israelis forced the Palestinians into the Palestinians, mounted a long lasting blockade, conducts incursions to snatch and disappear people, and assassinates. These acts of violence are done to the Palestinians whether there is a cease fire or not. Any reaction by the Palestinians is subsequent to the horrendous behaviour by Israel. Even the daily and nightly sonic bombs of Israeli airplanes is done deliberately to heighten hardship.
The irony is that the rockets that Hamas unleashes on the Israelis is on the farm lands and villages that Israelis stole from the inhabitants of Gaza.

You need to correct your thread title. The Palestinian people dont use the weapons, Hamas does.
It should reflect that and not try to spread more propeganda.
Thank you.
Cheers!!!!
Where do they get the money to fire thousands of rockets at approximately $500 each?

Pyros - you say "All Palestinians share some of the guilt for the actions of their Hamas leadership". By your logic, you and every other American citizen share the guilt of Bush et al's war crimes across the globe.
I have to point out (again!) that Hamas won with 44% of the vote, so 56% of Palestinians actually voted AGAINST! Hamas.
I will say this ONCE MORE. Israel is NOT surrounding Gaza and preventing them from eating/working. They have a border with Egypt that is closed. Why is Hammas not firing at Egypt? Ain't no JEWS in Egypt.
To the OP. I'm yet to see kids firing rockets. I'm yet to see women firing rockets. I am seeing a lot of dead bodies.
And from your external quotes "Musheir al-Masri, a Hamas spokesman in the Palestinian Legislative Council, said......the population of the villages bordering on the Gaza Strip, as well as Sderot and Ashqelon, would not be secure “as long as Palestinians are not secure”."
Does that not give you a clue or a least a teeny weeny hint as to why they're fighting? Possibly fighting back might be a better explanation? It seems from that quote as long as Palestine is secure, then there's no issue. Now, I wonder who could be making the Palestinians not secure? Who could possibly be fencing them in, controlling their borders and cutting of their supplies?
And for the record. I'm not pro or anti anything, except anti innocent people getting killled. And that goes for both sides. Making a comparison of the body count is the truth to who the worst-of-a-bad-bunch are.
Both sides are wrong. But from the body count one is way way way wronger than the other.
Ergo, Hamas is the Palestinian people. All Palestinians share some of the guilt for the actions of their Hamas leadership.
I will say this ONCE MORE. Israel is NOT surrounding Gaza and preventing them from eating/working. They have a border with Egypt that is closed. Why is Hammas not firing at Egypt? Ain't no JEWS in Egypt.

MOSSAD is the boogey man. MOSSAD will strap bombs on mentally disabled women and send them into crowd. MOSAAD will invade Kuwait. MOSSAD caused Iran to build a nuclear program. MOSSAD is the true face of evil.
Thank you for clarifying the entire Middle Eastern situation by saying "It's the Boogey man."

Your feeble attempt at condescension only further illustrates how ignorant you are to what is truly happening in the Middle East.
Saddam was a US puppet. It is well known that he was installed and funded by the US. Google it.
Israel, Pakistan, India, France, Germany, China, Russia, the US and a few others all have nuclear programs, so explain to me why Iran cannot?
Iran is one of the few countries that has not been fully infiltrated by the diabolic NWO hence why they seek to ruin it.
