Negative space in member upload?

Anybody know why I have negative upload space available in my member upload section? I should have about 95k left, as my ONLY current upload I have saved is 5k???

I can NOT upload any images at all. I have only been able to delete them.

I've never had this problem before.

Is there a setting I may have accidently changed that disables uploads???

I'm having sort of the same problem. I have "no" upload space at all....

Ok, I thought it was just my account or something. I hope this gets fixed soon.

Yep. I lost ALOT. I had to buy it all again.

a known issue that seems ignored? i have used the complaint form to submit the issue with upload space several times. seems it is treated as if its a non issue.

Same thing happened to me. Whew, I thought it was just me.

So... whats the fix please?

I use my "Member Upload Space" on a daily basis, and I've used it today several times.
It works just fine for me.

Perhaps you need to spend a few point on upload space, or delete something in the space you have.

I'll try to buy more space and see what happens, I'll also delete an image and see if I get a credit for it.
I'll report back...........



EDIT: I just ran a few test.......


I added 10k with no problems using my ATS points.


I also uploaded this image with no trouble, and you can see that it displays.

Look at the URL if you doubt me.

I also went in and deleted a great image of a palace in Iraq and got a credit back to my upload space.


Seems to work fine any way I use it.........

Warning: unlink(ats44344_123 .JPG): No such file or directory in /home/abovetopsecret/uploads/atsupload-member.php on line 113

I too have a negative amount in the member upload space........and it's been that way for a while now......

How far in the hole are you ???
I know you can afford the points, are you willing to spend enough to see if you can get out of the hole and see if it works ?

i've already spent the points to get out of my "point hole". the "point" is, we shouldnt have to spend them to fix an error in the boards :-/

For everyone who has the negative upload space issue, please u2u me with the amount of space that disappeared. I'm making a list and checking it twice.

any image with a space in the filename before upload becomes NON-VIEWABLE and NON-DELETABLE. just a fyi that should perhaps be MASS U2U-ed so people atleast know about the issue, if it's not being fixed.

That's not true.

I just uploaded an image named "pool cover" and on ATS the URL appears as "https://files.abovetopsecret.com/uploads/ats45886_pool_cover.jpg".
the image appears as this when I use the [img] bbcode.



The board adds the underscore automatically when I upload it.

actually, it IS in fact true.

perhaps a random bug, perhaps not. either way, the above is proof that spaces can be accidentally formatted as %20 and ruin the file. i cant view it, i know you cant view it and it cannot be deleted either.

How far are you in the hole on your upload space , and are you willing to let me look at your acct. ?

You would need to u2u me your password and you can change the password after I take a look. You would need to log off for 15 min. after you send me your password, but I won't screw around with your acct.

I may spend a few of your points, but I'll keep any upload at a minimum. (under 2,000 bytes)

I'd log in as you and try to see what the problem is, and make a post in your name in this thread.

If you are deep in the hole it might be best to let the Mods handle it....

duzey actually is handling the problem rather well i'd say, and as i posted above i have already purchased my way out of the "hole".
