i guess the thread title explains the purpose for this topic, i'm hoping most of you guys would participate by posting up videos (google, youtube) of aircraft.

doesn't really matter if the vids are of civilian or military aircraft as long as it flies, glides or floats through the air.

so imma start this thread off with these

Comanche (RAH-66)

Lockheed Sabre Warrior (Concept)

Hey how about posting really unique and interesting videos?
I've come across some decent Russian documentaries on a/c like the MiG 29,
the Russian carrier initiative etc etc.
Except its all in russian..
But good stuff and Russian board members can volunteer a brief summary translation.

I remeber when the F-20 first came out it was called the F-5G. Its bascially an F-5 with a big single engine instead fo the 2 small engines.

It could just about match the F-16 in certain things and it cost about half the price as an F-16.

Here is something rare. The Russian Wing-in-ground (WIG) known as the Caspian Sea Monster.

Thanks so much. The Sabb Gripen is a jet that is still mostly classified.

And why is that?

I dont think you'll find much highly classified equipment on the Sabb Gripen (spl? Saab or Sabb) its heavyly guarded and not fielded in too many oversea war games but that has been changing as of late in one or 2 games that I can remeber.

Well it was here in India for the 07 airshow and was pretty accessible IMO.

Anyways the Soviet Navy Carrier Aviation Video I promised.

and the 2nd part..

Now you get me a translator!!

Notes:

-Saw a Su-32/34 fullback on deck. They carrier-capable?
-The flight suit looks like one big inflatable raft!!

-Kuznetsovs operate Su-25s as well.

And the MiG-29k testing deck landings for the first time.

These a/c are due for the IN carrier Vikramaditya.
I don't know when this vid was taken(uploaded Nov 06) but the MiG29k in them is certainly not the one that is finalised for the IN.

Here* are a few snaps of the new trainer version of the MiG-29k. As is noticied the cockpit is much more elevated and overall visibility is better.

*Copyright Vishnu Som, Jan 07

The carrier and a/c are due in 08.

EDIT: Very nice MFDs!

More new MiG29K-UB photos. I really like the look of this a/c.

And here are the original ruskie MiG-29 vids:
Part 1
Part 2

I think if translated these videos will give us some really good insights.

Translation? spasiiiba!!
