The US has announced a $1.2 billion aid package to Ukraine intended to “bolster its air defenses” and “sustain its artillery ammunition needs,” with Ukraine’s counteroffensive against Russian forces looming.

The package includes 155mm artillery rounds, additional air defense systems and munitions, and drone ammunition, as well as equipment to help “integrate Western air defense launchers, missiles, and radars” with Ukraine’s existing systems.

There you have it. This admin can't take care of the homeless, can't provide for our Vets, let's millions cross the border and put pressure on an already fragile economy, basically can't/won't raise a finger to help the average American in any way, but they can shovel cash to their favorite money laundering country.
I expected this administration to be a train wreck, but Jesus this is taking it to a whole new level.

ETA :Just had a thought...How about tell Ukraine to get those weapons Joe left in Afghanistan ? That should keep them supplied for a good long time.

As I just said recently in a thread about Germany, how would old military equipment and ammo help with any of the situations that you listed?

Also, after the prophesied border apocalypse Friday, border crossings have gone down.

There was a population of 43.6 million in Ukraine in 2022; we could have taken every man, woman and child into the US for a fraction of what has been spent over this war.

Wouldn't it make more sense to evacuate the women and children and let the men (and women who so desire) go at it? Or, hire the terrorists we trained and funded to go and fight? Maybe with some of the equipment we left behind?

And i answered you in that thread that "somebody" aka the tax payer paid for all that old equipment that is given away for nothing in exchange now, in a normal world you would sell that older equipment to those who want that stuff and then you could use that money to solve problems at home, problems of the tax payers created by the government, the politicians.

But these "governments" have nothing better to do than to create more and more monetary problems for their citizens at home but throw the tax payers money into a known fascist and corrupt barrel without a bottom, for example.
