I feel like there's a ton of Rock music that has little or no American Black influence..Maiden comes to mind, a near feelingless band that actually transcends 'feeling' at times. But, Quiet Riot IMO, being as raw as they are, a lot of their style can indeed be traced to American blues..ZZ Top said it best concerning themselves..They said. "We are interpreters of the Blues." Which are absolutely Black…Pardon Me..American…We are all at the very least guilty of receiving stolen property…possession being nine tenths and all..Some of us are guilty of a whole lot more, but I would think that one crime is becoming more of a tie that binds by the minute..

I guess if we want to trace the earliest form of stringed instrument and find out what color the sun had turned the people who developed it..I suppose that would be an interesting study
