I didnt see a thread on it yet , feel free to delete this thread if there is one already.

This is for the folks who have not seen or heard about it yet.

Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities is a show on Netlfix in wich every episode is a short horror story.

8 episodes are now on netflix , so far i have seen 4 and they are really good.

I will roll myself into a blanket later and watch the other episodes.

Here are a few trailers :

Episode 1

Episode 2

Episode 3

Episode 4

Enjoy!

Watched the first 3 last night. Really liked episode 1. For some reason episode 2 didn’t grab me at all.

I love his earlier films,

Chronos

Pans Labyrinth

not such a huge fan of the Water one. Too much Pandering.
but this seems interesting.

He needs to get off his ass and finish the Mountains of Madness.

I need Mountains of Madness.

Episode 2 of this series has some nice Cthulu elements.

I recommend spreading them out, not binging them. Each is so different that they could easily mash into a blur if binged. Take one a night for the best effects.

I watched the first two this evening; pretty interesting pre-Halloween viewing. Hopefully, we get some more at some point; then again, this is the place that canceled Archive 81. Still quite upset about that one.

We watched that this weekend- it reminded me a lot of The Statement of Randolph Carter

I think the problem with episode #2 was that the plot was virtually identical to episode #1 - greedy desperate lowlife needs a big score to pay off his debt and gets his karmic comeuppance.

I watched #3 last night - it's a good one
