Solid comment.

The other thing that people seem to skim over is that there are other navies with special ops personnel and underwater demolition teams. As you point out, it is not a common capability, but the USN is hardly the only force with those assets.

Using children in commercial way is seen as contrary to good manners and very much unaccepted in marketing unless it is about diapers etc. This same issue can be used in here too.

Subs don’t have to get close enough to do the work though. They just have to get close enough that divers can swim, or use a delivery vehicle to get there.
