It's public knowledge that they give the shots to kids because kids are potential vector for future infections. It's why they were talking about getting kids vaxxed to protect their grandparents. It was in the Whitehouse press briefings, it was discussed on both CNN and Fox.

Nothing is being omitted, they give parents a leaflet when their kids are vaxxed, you're supposed to read it first. It's your own call if you choose not to.

There's also a link to data on vax side effect on the actual CDC page for vaccinating children. It's so hidden that you can find it simply by looking on the CDC webpage, the exact place that you'd expect to find it.
