It does impact how much they pay in state and local taxes. Why do you think Disney is fighting this so hard?

No, they will likely pay the same or slightly more than they are now...

Florida is in the headlights of the new and improved batch of COVID they say. I believe that covid is a plan to shut him down. When the government and others say COVD will hit Florida hard you know it's planned. So Disney will close down again and the rest of the state will be punished for his actions.

No, you are right, they pay state taxes. All these hit piece articles are funny, trying to say how horrible this will be for Floridians, when it's the opposite, as evidenced by Disney's statements saying they aren't going to comply because Florida can't make them.

One thing is conveniently left out. Disney will have to pay taxes. Property taxes, hotel taxes, amusement taxes............ It goes on and on. Right now Disney pays NO TAXES.

They won't foot the bill or ramp up infrastructure, Disney already pays the bill to Reedy Creek, that money will simply be shifted to the counties.

Except there is a loss, the loss of Disney to get municipal bonds, which will cost them significant money in the long run.

Cost who and how?

Municipal bonds are tax exempt. That gives Disney a huge advantage in attracting investors, especially wealthy ones. So it will cost Disney by making it less able to attract investors. Why do you think they are fighting this so hard?
