Because Disney desire =/= County need. Right now they do whatever they want and can attract investors easy due to municipal bonds.

Soon they will need to convince the County that the COUNTY needs something, not just Disney desires it. When the county says no, Disney will pay themselves anyways, without being able to issue municipal bonds to do so.

They attract them because they pay based on future park revenues which are pretty much guaranteed. Disney can fund their own improvements without bond servicing, it just means they have to budget for it in a different manner and so does the county/town when it comes to municipal services.

What? Where are you getting this from? If Disney no longer pays for say, fire services, it doesn't stop, it falls on the county or municipality to perform the service. Disney would only move the taxes paid to Reedy Creek by themselves to that new entity. They don't win or lose on this, it's just moving money from one place to another.

Exactly, when the county says no, Disney has to pay for it anyways, meaning they are paying twice. Kind of like how when someone pays taxes for schools, then sends their kid to private school anyways.

They do lose. If they did not lose they would not be fighting this tooth and nail, spending money to do so.

They would only be paying the tax they already paid since Reedy Creek would no longer exist and all it's services would shift to the local government. They aren't going to be double taxed.

They do lose.

You've yet to explain how.

That's even if this goes through next year which it most likely won't due to multiple Constitutional issues about debt obligations.

Says who, Disney? The people who make the law say otherwise. I already explained how they lose, go reread.

Why is Disney fighting this so hard if they don't lose?

Say otherwise about what? Quote the relevant portions.
