So am I, I just want a choice that is respected and not met with being locked out and shunned. The smear campaign is on full throttle and so many fall for it.

One example:

The radio told me lately, that 2/3 of our citizens want mandated / forced vaccine.

A bit more than 64% are fully vaccinated. About 68% got at least one.

That tells me that almost everyone vaccinated, according to the radio, is wishing to push this on the rest. This tells me, that even those who took it for different reasons, like gaining freedom and not what they believe in protection, are now turning around as they are now on the green side of the river, advocating for forced vaccinations.

Either that or the radio vote was very biased and it's actually like 1/3. Anyways, it does not really boost my confidence in humanity.

It is not fine.
It is a slippery slope towards a society where personal freedom and informed consent are replaced by pressure to behave in a certain way in order to be allowed to partake in society.

That ship has long sailed.

The majority of Americans know that our government is greedy, corrupt, infiltrated, and does not give a damn about us. The biggest problem is not just that we know it, but we have accepted it.

Too many Americans know what is coming, but they are holding on to the false hope that it will be the ignorant, dangerous people, the ones that won't comply, that will receive the wrath, and save them from the punishment. Knowing in their heart of hearts, that they are just buying themselves some time, while they do nothing, but pray for a savior.

America as we once knew it, is dying. The window is damn near closed, and the hope of resuscitation is fading fast.

I don't believe this coercion is compatible with a free society. Much less, a society with a constitution that guarantees certain freedoms.

I feel like all the negative government and media is meant to make us feel helpless, give up, and stop caring.

Freedom is not free. It was bought with the spilling of a lot of blood, sweat, and tears.

It was paid for by a large group of people that lived in a world were pain, suffering, and death, were worth risking, for a chance of living life as a human being. With a chance at living free and providing a future for their children, were they hoped the proceeding generations would not have to live under the yoke of tyranny.

They took the risk because they were already living in Hell. I looks like we have come full circle, and our children or children's children, will have to fight the battle for freedom. The freedom that we relinquished for comfort and the new normal.

It is not going to get better. They will keep taking until our lives reach the point were death is more appealing then living. Until all our chances of saying 'No!", have disappeared. Most don't realize there is a difference between being alive and living, and starvation is starvation at your control, or the control of others.

At least when you sacrifice to maintain control of your life, there is hope. When you sacrifice the control of your life to others, hope goes with it.

Yes. I made the choice to do it when it was a choice. I viewed it like getting the flu shot honestly. That's something I mainly only do when I think I want to hedge my bets a bit more against flu for whatever reason. Most years, I don't care.

I figured I would get the jab to help put things back on track this once and then largely ignore it like do flu shots.

Now that they are attempting to punish people into it, I feel like I took Jim Jones's Kool-Aid without knowing it and wish I hadn't done it.

Your reason was noble so you believed in doing the right thing. I hope of course that side effects are nonexistent and I am wrong with my opinion about future possible side effects, though.

I had the COVID in Spring 2020 and still active antibodies, and while it was not that worse for me, only the first 2 days, it took weeks and lot's of painful cough where the muscles around the lung would hurt as hell. Overall I had worse reactions from the flu shots every year like clockwork, where I would be tied to the bed for days.

I don't use the damned sheet of paper saying that I am immune though. Because at this point, I know it's not going to be valid for long and so I boycott the use of it and any documentation as a requirement to visit every day places.

Thank you for being so open and answering

You have to accept the fact that not everyone is going to respect you. It is often helpful, and satisfying, to ignore those that shun you, because you stand firm in your convictions. They are probably doing you a favor to shun you.

If the majority of the population is vaccinated then they are protected, and they need not demand those that choose to risk their life and health with God and nature. They are not worried. Don't worry about them.

If they are not infected they cause no harm. If they get infected and die, well.., they are dead, and one less individual to fear and hate, and they cause no harm. Fiesta, I told you so time, for the media.

If they get infected and live, they recover, and are immune, and they cause no harm.

The beauty of all us this is that every time an unvaccinated person gets infected, the number of unvaccinated believed to be a threat dwindles. At the rate of tens of thousands of new cases a day, that number should be zero very soon.

Wait! The deadly surge has been going on for months. I think they need to recheck their numbers. There can't be more than a hundred people left that is even a potential threat. Unless they start counting the vaccinated.

The fact they continue to aggressively attack those that are of no threat to them, paints a lot of doubt in the mind of anyone that is willing to risk independent thought.

Maybe it is time to hang up that hat.

Appreciate your posts and stand. Agree with you.
Am introducing an argument, not to fight with you please, but just to expand the discussion.

Coercion is a long, bumpy, gravel road.
Way down at the end of that road : is somebody being raped at gunpoint, and unspeakable atrocities.

Restricting most of us from going to stadiums, and junk-food outlets, is a minimal nuisance.
Doing it to a sociable young person, seeking a partner, is cruel, but a smart kid could work-around it.

Threatening family supporters, with losing their jobs, and means of caring for their Loved-ones : is more than just mean and cruel. It's psychological torture.
If it's a frog in the cooking-pot scenario : water is hotter than a good hot-tub, and getting rather uncomfortable now.

Question is : how far are we down that long road, and how far are they, and us, willing to go ?

I don't think it will kill me but I also distrust anything the government wants to force on me this much.

It's not a great place to be.

This is not were I wanted to go but jeez, you are speaking of the Trump regime. lol.

What I was leaning towards is that in my time lurking here I find you hate labor unions and love right to work. Right to work also means right to fire or maybe fire at will yes?
Like if you are an employee of mine that comes in with a face tattoo, I can fire you. I think that is what you people like.
Well, That is what you wanted, thats what you get...

Personally, should people be fired for not being vaccinated is not my call, I have no employees. But if you believe a privately owned business should be able to do what they want within the legal realm, be careful of what you wish for I guess

Well it is, what it is. Blatant lies and propaganda. I live in Florida and every place that I have been from the beginning of the scare till now, has been just fine. For the last several months, it has been as normal as you would expect. I have been in and out of a few of the local hospitals, and I have not seen one ER were is was busier than anything I had seen before COVID. I have had to wait as long as six hours to have a patient seen in a busy hospital ER, before anyone every heard the term COVID-19.

For clarity, I am not saying that no hospital in Florida has been overwhelmed. Some hospital ERs are overwhelmed and overwhelmed is their normal. It is indeed more challenging when you are consistently short of staff and of supplies, but making it look like hospital ERs are war zones, and people are dying in the street, is not just deceitful, it is purposefully derisive.

There is no law that says you cannot wear a mask, there is just a law that say you can't make someone wear one.

There is no law that say you can't get a vaccine, just a law that says you can't make someone get one.

If they think that makes for a horror story, then they fear freedom of choice, and they obviously have no idea what tyranny is. The real horror that they are championing in.

It is funny, just not funny Ha! Ha!

Is any of this going to the courts ? i have a hard time believing this mandate stuff is legal . I know private business can probably do it but it sounds like discrimination to me . I am no legal genius and I don't have an answer to the problem but there should be a large group of people fighting this crap .

For some odd reason, my company wants to keep me so they filed an ADA claim on my behalf, just so that I can keep working.

My only disability?

I can't take vaccines.

Key words. "Should be".

As I said before. I have done the good fight on more than one occasion. Every single time, I started out with a committed, enthusiastic group, and end up standing alone. Women are usually the first to cave, but when money and fear become a factor, the men fall right in step.

To be fair. How often do we actually do what we should.

You likely have administrators that value you more than they value a mandate that is only political pandering, and has no impact on disease control.

They seem like smart people.
