You know I really could see this as a Twilight Zone episode.

That aside.

What is so wrong with this picture. When the pandemic started everyone, and I mean everyone clamored for a vax. Now that there is one, there is mass resistance ot taking it. Seriously cannot wrap my head around it, It doesn't cause autism, it doesn't make you grow a tail, and it doesn't certainly make your skin fall off.

Yeah I'm making it overly simplistic, that's about all my mind can handle currently, and after suffering through SARS-CoV-2 and it's horrid symptoms in Feb of 2020, I was more than happy to get a vaccine.

I understand people have objections to shots, fine, you're entitled to them, but don't think we don't mandate vaccines in this county, our kids get tons of them just to be able to go to school, polio anyone?

That's exactly what it is. Just window dressing for coercion, fascism and bad science.

Every time I hear a proponent of vaxxing everyone say "follow the science", I want to feed them their own esophagus.

"The science" is clueless as to genetic or other predispositions to bad vaccine reactions, clueless as to why the heaviest outbreaks seem to hit following heavy vaccination in a given area, and 100% clueless as to the long-term effects of vaccination, especially in prepubescent children.

There's barely any science. There's stock options, marketing and lobbying, full stop.

Weird comparison. I'll take getting the Rona once a year for the rest of my life over getting Polio once.

Had Rona early on and wasn't aware of it. Was surrounded by sickies at work (95% of our staff went down at the same time, despite 100% indoor masking, "social distancing", etc. That being the second time I was heavily exposed, I decided to get an antibody test. Sure enough, plenty of natural antibodies.

So why would I shoot up with a vaccine that's going to boost my receptor binding antibodies, when I'm naturally immune to the virus itself (rather than only to a specific protein?) One would have to be drooling idiot, with no concept of either basic science or logic, to be in my position and choose vaccination.

When the pandemic started everyone, and I mean everyone clamored for a vax.

I, I mean me, didn't. As I know plenty of others that did not.

Seriously cannot wrap my head around it

Maybe because the narrative you set yourself up is wrong from the beginning? That you're over simplifying, is the reason for your confusion. Maybe it's not the best idea to rationalize something down to single digits and then try to make sense of it...just saying.

Yeah I'm making it overly simplistic, that's about all my mind can handle currently, and after suffering through SARS-CoV-2 and it's horrid symptoms in Feb of 2020, I was more than happy to get a vaccine.

I recovered in April 2020 and had no such urge. I had flu shots that were worse.

What can we learn from this? That your personal oversimplified viewpoints are not transferable to other people, like you wish they are.

I understand people have objections to shots, fine, you're entitled to them, but don't think we don't mandate vaccines in this county, our kids get tons of them just to be able to go to school, polio anyone?

Oh and because kids "get tons of them" already, we can add more ad nauseum, ignore and talk away the side effects and mandate it for everyone. For a virus that has 99.998% survival chance for kids and lot's of people, remember, can spread it asymptomatic not even getting sick.

99.98% survival rate, with an unknown long haul afterwards.. mutations popping up faster than normal viruses. Sorry sir (or Mamn) I may have made my point overly simplistic. do not for one moment think I personally think that way 24/7.

Before we count this virus out, and before we say its just like the flu, maybe let it run it's FULL course, I bet we see a lot more suffering before it gets better.

This thread has interesting philosophical insights about what's going on. I've been thinking these things long before this particular form of the big insanity began. The covid-stuff is not really insanity itself, it's just a symptom or branch of an already existing bigger insanity that people were blind to. Now they don't have that choice.

The blame is of course always shared, as well as the cause that enables this mind of thing.

One part is people's evil that lead to their karma that dictates they have to be oppressed to be able to pay those karmic debts. This planet has probably record amount of karma at the moment, of any planet in the history of the Universe (and that's a long history).

Another is the evil people at the handle of power, that want to enslave and oppress all humanity - and even all the weird sub-humanoids of THIS planet - utterly and completely.

The last is current people's stupidity, willful ignorance, selfishness and stubbornness when it comes to having to accept uncomfortable truths.

When you put these three together, this kind of Twilight Zone is inevitable, it's just a matter of time.

Oh well, we'll be so karmic debt-free after all this is over.. we can think of it as a really painful shower that cleanses our consciences.
