Once upon a time the FDA was paid for by tax payers... these days they're basically funded by the companies seeking approval for their drugs apparently...

Yeah, you wouldn't want to give him a listen, weigh what he says on it's own merits, do your own research to verify or disapprove what he says. Much easier to just dismiss it all out of hand because the cowd doesn't approve of him.

On the FDA's own website they admit that at least 45% of their budget is provided by euphemistically named "user fees" paid them by the same companies they are supposed to be regulating.

Basically, he's a comedian that had a penchant for using illicit substances, and protesting things in a strange manner. He's got a good brain in his head, however, and the ability to see things clearly. Even if a bit overt in it's telling.

he doesn't lean left nor right, tends to stick to the middle where both sides are considered, therefore, by the media, is considered an extremist.

I dunno, all I can think of. He's said a few things I've commented on his channel against. But more than not, he is spot on.
