You folks led us down this path. Deal with it. I'm done with hoping or pretending I'm dealing with honest brokers.

I haven't a clue what you're going on about.

Meanwhile:

Third-party Standing

None of those exemptions would apply, but it doesn't matter, because this law basically waives "legal standing".

So, I'm taking it that you can't cite another similar law, in a blue state or a red state.

So I'm taking it that you don't understand that I don't care.

It's laughable how often the left will cite the very things they previously ignored or opposed, but only once it cuts against them.

The left wanted new rules on this and a thousand of other issues. You got it.

People are finally waking up and playing the game forced upon them.

No sympathy from me.

From a political strategy standpoint I’m glad the SCOTUS acted kind this. This would keep the left actively engage for the midterms, specially the younger folks… they will come out and vote in droves again. This decision probably saves the House for the Democrats and probably gives the left additional seats in the Senate.

It would take more than 5 to 6 weeks to know you were raped or had sex under the influence?

rickymouse hit the nail on the head:

I thought it was ok to have abortions for the first ninety days or so, but they were not satisfied with that and now if I have to vote, I will vote to ban ALL abortions because they the left is going overboard. I don't want those people who want to kill someone's kid at eight months to have any sayso anymore.

Overreach is considered a peril for a reason.

Overreach can go both ways though. 2022 will tell who overreach the most.

Innovative bill that comes from the people. It's good too. Do whatever it takes to make the left less comfortable in your state. Striking those who are into death business first is a common sense. The dangerous individuals and companies of the left. Now come up with something they'll actually feel on the street.
It's not good enough when they can still travel to have one and not being charged with murder, is it?

Me and my wife didnt know she was pregnant untill she was almost 2 months in

And we were trying to conceive.

Hit as many nails on the head you want, but the mother should be in control of her reproductive choice....not the state.

Like the vaccine, mask, lockdowns... seems like the Pandora has box is opened, so I'm sure there are plenty of more loosing one's choice still in it.

Oh goody....an abortion thread on ATS.

So...abortion..a political or a religious topic?

Legal topic. New human with its own DNA = not your body. No choice to murder it without facing a penalty for murder. When you are forced to allow murder on industrial scale, it becomes religious topic. IMO this bill is still only dancing around it. A total division is needed in matters as important as this. A secession even. Whatever it takes

Imho, Roe v Wade will go back to the States, being a State issue.

It's better that way.

Not necessarily any particular views, just keeping this at the State level.
