My Phone Company is Blocking or Throttling ATS

I have the problem in Australia on my mobile too

Not always, but sometimes it takes forever to load. So much so, I'll give up and open my laptop, which doesn't have the same problem

It's not the internet provider though in my case, because both phone and laptop are connected to the Wi-Fi. So it is something to do with the mobile formatting

I have a bigger problem with ATS randomly switching my font to 3, so my writing is tiny

What the hell is with that?

Why does it randomly change to tiny text every now and then?

I have Verizon for my phone and have constant issues no matter what site I visit. I dont tend to visit ATS on my phone though. But issues never end and I have unlimited data...I sometimes use a VPN.

I'm a firm believer in net neutrality...why the internet isn't considered a basic utility at this point is beyond me...it's hard to exist in modern society without it.

Removed my moronic post after doing my own research.
I was using stubby resolver which was modifying my DNS using surfnet and infracom out of the Netherlands. Disabled it and set DNS to automatic in Linux and ATS loads fine with all my Firefox addons in place. The phone was also using wifi. I have a weird setup.

I still recommend everyone use a VPN. Router is using 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 for DNS resolving (Cloudflare).

Phone works fine with ATS off wifi. I have a Samsung Note 10+ and my private DNS provider hostname is set to one.one.one.one (settings > connections > more connection settings > private dns > this is where you set the dns)

I'd agree, if i hadn't tested it using a significantly worse phone using a plan with a different company that provides only h+ data that worked 100% with no problems.

Same. But only on my phone , and using an anonymous view seems to work, because of DNS issues.

I hope the mods or staff here are ok us users using VPNs?

I have same problem with ph but if I connect to internet on ph it loads normally.🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Ad-block is disabled for ATS. I doubt they would have a problem with anyone using a VPN.

Watch out with those "free" VPN services, they are very leaky. They make some of their revenue by selling off users info. Just an fyi.

same problem here with my Android tablet and Linux devices... but if I use w3m on Linux it never times out.

I would guess it's a script / browser issue.

I wouldn't recommend it for use. It seems shady. I did not sign in. I used this only to test whether I could connect to ATS when my provider did not know what i was doing and I could.

I would not recommend a service like this for regular use. Again, they seem shady.

It's not a conspiracy.

ATS doesn't work well on mobiles.
